Great watch. Only issue is the charger. It's very fiddly. I have to try several times before it starts to charge. Annoying when I pick it up in the morning to realize it wasn't charging at all. Also the battery doesn't last longer than a day and a half with me. Probably similar watches will be the same.
Agree, charger was fiddly. And I found it laggy. Uses an older generation processor.
I returned mine.

The Huawei Watch 2 is only £20-£30 more expensive. (But that has a too small screen for my liking.)
I got this watch a year and a bit ago for about 169. I got it mainly for its looks. I agree with the fiddly charger but if you want a smartwatch that feels/looks prestige, and one that you can customise the circular watch face and change the watch strap (they aren't pricey on amazon) then definitely go for this. I'm currently rocking a silver link watch strap with a "Rolex" face.

Sounds good. Can you link a picture of that please?
Good watch. Very customisable but like the others say battery not phenomenal especially on the more busy watchfaces and charger can be a bit fiddly. I currently rock the goldeneye watch which gets a lot of compliments and doesnt eat battery. Decided to order this over the 2nd generation as i think it has a nicer look but obviously thats personal preference
Be aware that this watch is no longer supported and didn't get the last version of Android Wear.

*Edit* Sorry chaps I meant it wont be getting the Oreo update going forward, that's currently being released/beta tested on some watches. It still got the last security update but it's not confimed if it'll get the next.

Mines on 2.10
Is it worth it?

Of the links or of the watch and the links?
This vs Apple Watch?
Huawei Watch 2 for £189 is the better deal because of NFC (plus it's on Oreo and getting Wear OS update). But this is a good price for W1.

Anyone experiencing lag on this watch, just turn off the Google now listening in settings. Lag is a known issue in the wear OS and is caused by the constant background running of this process.

Mine used to lag, especialy when pulling down or up for settings or notifications, and annoyed the hell out of me, turned it off and it's buttery smooth.

I've had mine for nearly a year now. Weirdly in the last couple of months I noticed I can now drop it onto the charger first time every time. But prior to that it was a little fidly.

How odd. Normally you would expect it the other way.
Nicest looking smartwatch around. ..
Great looking watch, Can anyone confirm if you can make NFC payments from this watch?
