uses rubber?

Good price and a pretty good product check the reviews. Screen is slightly smaller than I would hope but been tempted by this before it shot back up in price. Was hoping it might drop even further but it's as cheap as I have seen it.

Briefly owned the classic version. Pros: NFC, GPS. Cons: Lack of rotating crown or bezel compounded by small screen makes interface cramped, sluggish performance, contactless payments force use of screen lock which becomes a huge pain very quickly, not water resistant. I really wanted to like this watch but it feels like Huawei need one more iteration to get it right...

They just need to add NFC into the first generation, then they'd have a great watch.

Nice watch, having owned it since July I have noticed battery life considerably improved after latest update. Good screen, lots of sensors. Huawei health app gives some nice looking charts for heart rate. Sleep tracking with third party app.

Unless contactless payments are a deal-breaker for you, the W1 really is a fantastic piece of kit.

It also looks better than this 'sport' version IMHO.

Perfecto exactly what I though. thanks

I returned mine, was at critical battery after 5hrs one day with no complicated use, had odd other day struggle to get by out of the four weeks. For sport used Strava and mp3 music on my bike, lasted 40 min before running out of battery having only been off charge 11hrs. Having gone from pebble, the risk of not making it through a normal day, and if I wanted activity tracking needing to charge mid day I couldn't stand it! Also unable to receive notifications from two devices (work & personal mobiles) which my £50 pebble has managed to do! (android and ios)
The watch wasn't avert to hanging, battery was OK most of the time (not a great endorsement!), screen too small, contactless payment worked well, (as long as tight on wrist, watch stayed unlocked as sensed still worn by you), bluetooth pairing would occasionally drop, notifications about 10 seconds behind phone, including calls most of the time.
I knew battery wouldn't be pebble standard, but thought a working day with minimal use and some fitness activity wouldn't be a stretch, also thought notifications would be slicker and generally most things would be better than pebble, android wear just seems to not be quite there yet?! (LG watch sport looked good but appears canned due to poor battery?)
