Nowt wrong with huawei, cracking phones as well sprcced as the usual big names but without the 1k price tag haha. Cameras on them are second to none IMHO well for phones haha.

Could be wrong but I think the gt2e has no speaker or microphone. So you cannot make or receive calls....

I didn’t. Hukd just doesn’t allow them at the beginning of a comment.

I’m sure people can figure that part out without my help..... I’m here to assist with the rest of the journey

I have the GT watch and it's really good, only problem I have with it is when you set up a running plan you can't seem to start this from your watch it needs to be your phone ? Unless I'm doing it wrong.... And obviously you can't link to Strava is a pain

This is correct. And the design is slightly difference from face to strap (no gaps)

The e doesn't have a built in speaker for music playback or answering calls. I think the e looks nicer
No Strava is a real shame. It's what sent me back to Amazfit.

Sounds like your doing it wrong, unless you have a different model to mine. I have gt2 and to set my watch I press the bottom button, select what you want to do I.e running course or run etc, wait for GPS to find you, then press start. Very pleased with it, I needed the watch to accept phone calls from my phone, which it won't with the e model.

Yeah I can do that easily ...

But have you set up an actual running plan ? I've set up a 10k running plan on the app, then on the watch there is nowhere that has that detailed to start the runs, I need to go into the app then select the day and press go

Ahh, as far as I'm aware that recording isn't for setting up a course to do, it's to record one you have completed but perhaps didn't activate your running setting or weren't wareing the watch to record the data.

If should be, when i press go it starts recording but using the phone to do it, which is okay for me as I carry my phone on runs and if links up to the watch still for heart rate. Just would be easier to start the run on the watch and use the watch GPS

Mmm not sure then. When I press the play button on my phone it brings up the same screen on my watch that I would normally see during excersize actived from my watch. I cannot see why way to set up a customised run that is recorded on the watch, nothing on YouTube either. It would be a nice feature though.

Have you been able to add personal runs to the workout list? I think the e might have more options. Mine has 13 running courses, but I've never tried them as I use mine for cycling it hiit

Why are you complimenting Daily Mail readers if you want to insult them? Does it take a Daily Mail reader to be smart enough to not like dictatorships and stolen tech?
Edited by: "Llost" 14th May
I'd be all over this if I wasn't on furlough.
My Fitbit blaze is nearing the end of its days and I am currently looking at options for when I have to replace.
I quite like the Fitbit apps and find that the challenges from other users does make you do more and I have started a running programme as well.
I am in two minds whether to go for this watch as it has built in gps, music etc, which negates the need for a phone while running, but I would lose all the challenges from contacts on fitbit

They dont seem too smart to me, they have an opinion and it is their choice if they decide not to buy a product. "Stolen tech", I suspect most things these smart customers buy has been stolen from someones idea or invention. Did Samsung invent the smartphone, did Panasonic invent the TV, do you see what I am trying to say?

I see what you want to say and what you did say, you replied to me saying people have principals and don't like chinese companies (called having a world view and being an informed consumer) and you said they must be daily mail readers. That can be seen as a compliment based on what you was replying to so I'm just going off what you actually said and taking it sarcastically since it was no doubt a bit less mature intentioned.

I hope you do acknowledge the difference between competing companies using fair and open technology and paying real license fee's / R&D costs vs real tech theft though. Your example isn't helping as it speaks nothing of the real reasons some are avoiding these companies and only makes it look like you've not quite caught on yet. Can I ask what your goal is though? Are you trying to convince me to like dictatorships and bad business practices by blurring the lines?
