Hm for the n00bs what's the main difference between this and the gt2?
I just posted this. Didn't even see your deal, have some heat
Price has gone down to £94.22 boss
Excellent watches. Heat 🔥
It's a fairly nice watch but not overly smart. In the couple of weeks I've had mine, I have found it loses connection to your phone and can take a long time to re-establish the connection. You also don't have media controls on it which is something I really wanted. The sleep tracking works well as does the HR sensor but no sp02 or BP.

Cheers mate. The op was supposed to be for GT2 and GT originally but somebody was faster and I left GT only. Now I know it's only £2.5 less then your deal and tbh if I knew I wouldn't have bothered posting it was sure the previous price was £99

I updated it yesterday, its been dropping for a few days now, I actually asked the forum team to update it for me, they obviously think a £2 drop is OK for a repost, so it stands mate, you weren't to know!

No, so it will be a deal breaker for you.

I haven't had any issues with mine disconnecting at all. In fact I can't even get it disconnect unless I turn my Bluetooth off. Could be an issue with the watch or maybe even your phone?

I know, it crops up a lot as does no NFC.

My previous, very cheap Chinese watch never had an issue staying connected nor my Garmin or pebble watches. I've paired with a lot of devices and my only BT issues have been with my Moto earphones and a cheap pair of BT earphones so I'd err more on it being the watch rather than phone.
Good watch.

2 week battery life was the deal "maker" for me !

Works fine for running, no Strava but the Huawei Fitness app covers all the basics.

Never had any problems with mine, stays connected even if I'm connected to a Bluetooth speaker at the same time
Dammit I spent £100 on this last week from Argos

It's a nice watch though, good battery life and features.

The heart rate seems accurate although it just says your resting heart rate is 65 no matter what, mine is 80-100 in reality.

The best feature is "find your phone" it'll cause your phone to ring loudly even if it's on silent
I've had this watch since release, amazing battery life. It's perfect for me. If only it had NFC. I wear it everyday & it's good at what it does
Does this work on tracking activity on indoor static bikes?. Thanks

I've had no connectivity issues...

Yes!

This does not work with Android 10. Huawei Mobile Services is required on your phone. This app is not compatiblle with Android 10.
I have minor issues regularly with our disconnecting from my phone and not auto connecting again but generally a good watch with very good battery life. Will be looking this year to upgrade to something with music controls and some other basics.

What phone do you have?
Huawei p10 Pro... Which is a great phone still.

So this is strange as I thought you have a different brand phone. You can try in settings, then battery options, app launch and change huawei watch app to be managed manually as normally automatic mode prevents apps for reconnecting.

Mine connects and is managed using the huawei health app

When I installed the health app, it stated I needed the Huawei mobile services app too, otherwise the health app would not open. I'm using Samsung Galaxy Note and this is a known issue. All internet forums report the same problem. Amazing that Huawei have still not addressesd this.
Is it worth paying £50 more for the Watch 2?
