Nice budget phone - minus the G-Apps obviously - but I am sure people are working on that if you want them

They have the Y6p up too for £129.99 with the free band - may be a better option if you are paying £95 for this with delivery?

I have seen that Huawei have a 'simple mode' great for older people as the text is bigger and gives a simple tiled like layout.
Price is OK for what it is, I would not want to be spending much on any Huawei products these days so if this serves a purpose for someone why not. It is a budget phone as the OP says.

Nothing you can’t do for a fogey with nova free though...
2GB RAM wow ok, this isn't going to end well.

The UI animations will be janky.
Just enter developer's mode & turn them all off. It will help greatly.

I turn them off on my Pixel 2 and even that lags sometimes with 4GB RAM. The Galaxy S6 I owned in 2015 had 3GB RAM and that wasn't great. The Nexus 4 I had with 2GB RAM in 2012 was utterly crap, yes the SOC will be a lot better in this but it's running a much later Android system which uses more resources.

Later Android greatlty improved performance through optimizations.
My Pixel 2 & 2 XL runs smoothly without turning any animations off. The only thing issue is the battery on Pixel 2 is bit rubbish now.

edit: I was playing with my old Nexus tablet the other day, that is total crap now.

Pixel 2 battery is terrible now, although I can manage it, just need to charge the phone 2 - 3 times a day. It's also not easy to change the battery, easy to break the screen. A Pixel 2 is worth £70 or so on most trade in sites, so not worth even trading it for another phone, so that's why I've kept it until the battery life becomes unmanageable.

Get a battery bank. It takes the stress off your mind.
Or buy the Huawei Y7 2019 smartphone for £120 from John Lewis or Argos on a 6 month or 9 month interest free plan.
