Just crashed mine into a wall, the rotor blades flew off but easily pop back on; no damage done!

Very good reviews.

Looks like the L model is v2 and improved.

Price seems to be standard though? Same price at several shops. Although free post is good.

The V2 is well worth it, but if it's your first microquad I would get the V1 to start with at this price just in case you bash it up a little too much!
Everywhere else seems to charge delivery, or cost in the £30's+!
Once I have got use to this outside, I'll purchase a V2

I just cant wait to get it so I can enjoy annoying the Mrs with it

I used it a while ago worked fine for me give them a call?

Free delivery code being refused at checkout, saying reached its usage limit etc! Damn!

What is the best Keychain Cam to get? I doubt my GoPro will fit on the bottom of this ha!

Original Poster

Hi Chris,

I'm unsure of the best keychain camera, your gopro will probably weigh it down a little too much... ebay.co.uk/itm…ec5 this looks okay? not sure? haha!

Hi Marky,

Thanks for that. Although its more expensive, I've found the wide angle fisheye version that I'm going to add to it.

Might get a landing gear too and some spare batteries.

Too excited haha!

Can you link me to what you are buying? thanks so much

It's effectively the same thing but a newer version with the fisheye.

Search for this item number on eBay - 261190762508

Can't find one in the UK and they seem to ship the quickest out of all the sellers on there.

What do you plan to use to strap the camera to the quad?

Thank's got free del as well

Most people in the forums seem to be using 3M double sides tape. Although I might try strong Velcro on both parts then I can change the angle to sideways shots etc if needed.

Toy helicopters; the most anti climactic toy ever invented. They always seem like such a good idea at the time...

worth a punt. txs op.

Bought on of these on thur, came in less than 24 hours. Some tips, after reading lots of forums and vids, calibrate the gyro before you start flying... Mine is fantastic, just waiting for my keyring cam tto arrive. Tried to think about a fpv mod, using wifi sd card but will be too much weight, max payload is around 100g, but ideally no more than 50

I used Amazon checkout, entered the code and it seems to want to charge for delivery on the next screen, but if you check the basket at that stage it does have the free delivery code in there and if you continue it does carry on without adding any extra charges.

I will never grow up while things like this exist.

Do you use this indoors or out?

Just took this so high, only a little dot could be seen. lost power, crashing to the ground and no damage whatsoever You really need two batteries for this, luckily spare parts are super cheap!

Indoors and outdoors, it struggles in 13mph winds but it's fine in anything under 10!

I've flown mine in over 20mph winds, its hard work but great fun! I picked up a spares kit from Model zone at Meadowhall a while back for about £6, spare battery, shell, and a load of spare blades.

By default it starts up in a lazy mode which is perfect for learning and flying indoors or you can press the right stick in once and the red LED on the controller will flash to say its in advanced mode which is a fair bit faster!

I've had mine up at some silly heights with no issues with range (even though the aerial on the controller is actually a dummy one).

Well recommended!

These are great - good price for uk stock.

Cheaper here
banggood.com/Who…GBP
but from HK

Banggood are great for spares - stock up now on rotor blades motors etc. I built a whole new copter from spares as my original got caught by a big gust of wind and went in the fish pond.! Take 10-14 days to arrive.

It's great, modelzone is soooooo over-priced at £44.99!! I'm still learning therefore on beginner mode, I guess expert mode will allow me to fly this even higher!?

Might give them a go for spares, but 10-14 days is a long time to wait! could you get charged import fees too?!

I've only bought spares and the total is never over a tenner so no problem with import fees.
If buying loads just split your order up as free delivery.

Expert mode doesn't change the throttle response it changes everything else. You can climb at the same speed in either mode.
In expert mode you can also flip in any direction, although this does happen by accident in doors when flying it aggressively!
Just did a quick test in the garden and I can climb 3 times the height of my house (two story) in 6 seconds from hovering an inch above the floor.

I think it was quicker than that when I first had it but I bent one of the motor shafts a while back so need to swap that motor out.
