You need to add a filler item to this to make the purchase £100+

I used Tesco Value A4 Laminator Pouches 75 micron 25 Pack, and then use code TDX-WRTX to drop the price by £20.

Ignore the code below! Use TDX-WRTX

The HUDL 2 can be easily rooted. Some of the benefits of rooting are:

Increased battery life with Greenify/Amplify
Remove tesco bloatware with titanium backup
Install apps directly to microsd
Remove ads on youtube/webpages

If you wish to know more on how to root, message me.

COOOOOOKIEEE

What firmware would these have does anyone know? Just wondering as want to root mine and you cant on the latest firmwares.

Was thinking of this but i heard the screens are more susceptible to breaking than other tablets around

Are they good? I have an iPad air. Tempted for the price.

I "think" the cheapest item to use as a filler is the laminator puches you listed above...

I tried it with other items closer to £1 and they didnt allow the £20 off code. Is there any reason why you selected the laminating pouches?

Thanks

Yes. Best bang for back tablet around. Only downside is there is no real aftermarket ROMs/Rooting is limited to specific firmwares.

Thanks OP.

We had one, the screen broke with very little contact.
More expensive to repair than replace.

Offer ends 28/05/2015

I'm still undecided on my Hudl2 to be honest, coming from a Nook HD+.
I like the fact that the overall size isn't much bigger than the screen measurement, the stereo sound is awesome, it goes quite loud and the connectivity is quite good.
I can't get ours to cast to the TV though, I thought it was meant to do this out the box?
The charging is sporadic, sometimes it seems to hook in and juice up no bother, other times it seems painfully slow.

Had mine nearly 2 months now.

Excellent tablet, decent enough battery life, great screen, zippy.

I've had no problems casting whatsoever either to my Chromecast or NowTV box

it says it has a micro usb...

I have a normal size usb dongle, can i get a convertor for this so i can still use it or would i need a micro usb dongle instead?

Monster tablet for £80. Battery life is so-so but still a bargain.

Excellent that they give such a long time frame on deals, and tell you when the offer ends.

Lets you mull over the offer in your own time.

thankyou so much just used this code in two separate transactions adding the laminator paper. also doubled up my clubcard points...so in total got TWO hudl s for £55.00 yipeeeee

fantastic thankyou...using double up points too..... gives me two hudls for £55 yay

Says code has expired for me?

Sweet just managed to get it for £45.65 (£17.50 in vouchers).
Gotta love the TCB clubcard point payout option.

Been meaning to swap out my 2012 Nexus 7 and kept missing the Hudl2 deals.

Are you using TDX-WRTX?
The one automatically added to the post via HDUK has expired, but TDX-WRTX is the new one.

Dodgy screens on these hudls and also not the best at charging

We bought 2 for the kids at Christmas fantastic for the money, we bought tempered glass screen protectors of eBay just in case with it being for the kids and bumper protectors and they've stood up to everything they've thrown at it, I can't recommend enough

got one and they're ace apart from some software rubbish, main pain being every time you turn it off,and back on again, some of the things you put on the home page aren't there anymore and you have to put them back on again,a known issue and yet still no fix for it from the tech team!muppits!

Also not had any charging issues with mines, probably an early problem fixed by the couple of updates there's been

I was going to get the Hudl and a case but the site said the voucher wasn't valid until I added tesco laminating pouches.

Good deal. I wasn't using my vouchers for anything else so why not?

had a hudle2 since xmas, love it and no cracked screen or any issues with it.

just take care of it.... common sense really.

Never had any problems. Fantastic tablet for the price. If you have vouchers to Boost then it's a no brainer.
