Picked a kids balance bike up earlier today from Tesco (in store) for £8.50.

Reduced from £35, down to £17, down to £8.50.

Model : Hudora Laufrad Bikey 2.0.

The bike is grey as in the picture but the box shows a blue one.

Would guess that it's end of line and limited availability.

Wow, I've been looking for one of these, prob won't have them at my store!

Good price. Where abouts in store did you find it?. May check mine at lunch.

What's a balance bike? Is it just for rolling down hills? Is it a training bike for kids?

Got to be hot for £8.50

I dont get how these work really, are they just for pushing kids around???

They help the kids to get the idea of balancing with two wheels. They are supposed to push it with their legs while sitting on them. They may be of interest if they are really this cheap, not otherwise. I would rather add that mony towards getting a proper bike.

These things are awesome... the top brand is LikeaBike - check out likeabike.co.uk/ben…php. I bought my 2 year old something similar and she got to grips with it in days. They give confidence to the little ones, allowing them to move easily to a pedal bike without stabilisers when the time comes. Assuming you are happy walking places rather than carting the family round in the car, these are fantastic as they enable the kids to move at a good walking pace. Just bear in mind you might need to run after them once in a while!!

These really are superb wee bought our boy one when he was about 2.5years loved, similar to this one so this is a superb price

we have one of these and they are excellent - son was on his bike a year before his friends and has never needed stabilisers just jumped straight onto a 16" bike cannot recommend them enough at this price a steal.

It was near the outdoor activity equipment IIRC, e.g. footballs, bike equipment, etc, on an aisle adjacent to the kids toys in a Tesco Extra.

There was one left in Barnsley.

£35 now

Our wee fella has one of these too. They are excellent. He whizzes about on it and definitely won't be needing stabilisers. He has a 'proper' bike at his nannies and finds it very hard to control as the pedals are on the front wheel

i ride one of these to work, i find it rather small though

Got the last one on the shelf at Tesco Bidston early this afternoon, great price, cheers.
