great deal. its well worth treating yourself to these lights.we love ours and can control using alexa.
Curious why people are voting cold - I've yet to find a better price outside amazon prime days and Black Friday?
Although in all honesty I don't care too much - when I sell the hubs for £25 - £30 it leaves the bulbs at £33 each give or take and that's a decent deal alone.

Exactly the same price on Amazon. Actually, normal price for this kit, not a special deal. (was 100 on Christmas sale on amazon)
1 Not everyone has Amazon accounts
2 Amazon or Currys have price matched the other - they were full price in the region of £149 (which is the normal price) yesterday on amazon
3 it's not Christmas
4 it's not Black Friday
5 it's not amazon prime day

These are clearance lines.
My suspicion is that maybe a new kit is due with a Hub 3, I hope. My hub 2 keeps running out of memory and that's clearing out unused rules.
New sets coming out with more bulbs in, four rather than the current three.

Better value starter packs coming soon
Can anyone find it cheaper? No? Then this is a deal. Hot from me.
FYI There is a price rise on the new 4 bul starter packs, I also think the hub is unchanged too.
I have to admit - I'm not going to bother next time.
I've been watching these for the past week previous and amazon must of only just dropped their prices however my previous post still stands - not everyone has amazon.
Voting down because people "suspect" that new kit might come out with xyz features in an undetermined time period is so short sighted it's unbelievable.
However - it does mean more for me as I bought two lots and will shift the hubs making the bulbs for less than £35 which is an amazing deal irrespective of others short sightedness.
Ps anyone want to buy 2x hubs
Thanks for posting BoBeB
Good price price for this so heat added but Philips do take the pee with their pricing. Xiaomi's Yeelight are comparable to the Hue with the added advantage of needing no bridge and still working with Alexa. But the real advantage is price - the 16 million colour version have been as low as 7 quid delivered from China. Loads of Yeelight deals have been posted on here recently. About time Philips had some major competition...

Yes, you can use your existing on/off switch and they work via wifi. Can be operated away from home also using the app. Alexa-compatible too. An absolute steal at their regular price of around 14 quid direct from China but like i said they've been below 7 quid a few times which is ridiclous (need to be quick though). Only real drawback is they are E27 only but adapters can be had very cheaply online (2 for a quid at ikea!).
