Found on another deals site but very good deal.

"For those of you who have been struggling to find Aloe leaves / gel anywhere.

(Out of stock everywhere)

Excellent price, just received my order this morning and I must say I'm delighted with them, big fat juicy leaves full of gel.

£11.99 price is for x2 which is reasonable but it's the 10 leaf option that is the real steal.

The

10 leaves option works out less than £3.90 a leaf! I can't get leaves

that cheap from the market (now closed) never mind delivered."

Could you not just buy a plant for £8 and grow your own?
Do you just squeeze it out and use it?

Could you not just buy a plant for £8 and grow your own?

Would probably take too long...

Copied from other deal sites comments:
"While I appreciate the sentiment, the growing time cannot keep up with the usage for someone who uses leaf daily (like myself). There's probably more gel in one of the purchased leafs than in that whole Aloe plant. Always good to keep the plant on hand though!"
I have no clue what happened to our aloe vera plant we had for years. It all of sudden just disappeared one day along with the pot.
Wish I knew you could sell these. I got rid of my aloe Vera plant because it got too big.

I personally cut the leaf down the side & apply it on my face an hair.
I literally just split my aloe plant yesterday. It had gone huge. Got 4 pots of it now. Its died a few times but always manage to resurrect it

The individual leaves are usually huge, a friend bought one from a local shop.

I did the same. I had no where to keep it because it was enormous.
I can second this, I didn't even know they grew that big till I saw a leaf.

chuck the cheep small ones in a bigger pot and they grow massive i have one that started at about 2 or 3 inches and now the biggest leaf is 70 cm and the smaller are all around 45cm. yes it took a while but get a few plants going at once and youll have a constant suply

THANKS OP!
Fresh leaf is pretty much the only way to avoid the crap that gets added to most over-the-counter Aloe Vera gels. The front of the tube will say 99.99% Aloe Vera while the ingredients list will have umpteen preservatives and other stuff which we are expected to believe adds up to the missing 0.01%. Yeah, right...

Also, heat for the deal.

Are Aloe Vera plants safe if you have a cat? Would love one but not sure if I’ve read they can cause a reaction. My cat would definitely want a bite of the leaves

The plants the leaves are taken from will be huge, Unfortunately growing yourself, you couldn't possibly get to size in UK's climate. If you've seen an Aloe in the wild you'd know what I mean.
