The look of disappointment on someone’s face when they receive the gift of Baylis and Harding and for a split second thought it was Molton Brown - priceless

You need some new, non-judgemental, less snobby, more appreciative friends/relatives, to be entirely honest...

Couldn’t have agreed more - these are good quality gift sets on a budget - you get what you pay for. Also the moment the price tag of the gift starts dictating the joy and not the fact that someone thought and bought something for you, the point of the gift is lost, IMHO.

I disagree. Bought myself one before to see if it was any decent and the scent was weaker than something you'd get in Aldi or Lidl. There's a reason they get so heavily discounted. I'd rather get Nivea in Poundland and put the rest towards a bottle of Molton Brown.
look for a quality brand if you are gift shopping in the sales, or for yourself...doesnt have to be molton brown or l'occitane - as GSave said - Nivea sets much better than B&H its not good quality, just sparkly packaged and definitely does not say SPECIAL..and its everywhere from Savers to Debenhams to House of Fraser...why I don't know. common as dog must have a massive factory somewhere churning this out cheap as chips if stores can make such massive discounts and still make a profit
ta op!!!
I like these sets to take to the sap hen I go as they are all ready in a make up type bag! also have a gift voucher so just what I need!!
Escape looks like Rituals and Skin Spa looks like Sanctuary.
their packaging is lovely, shame that the actual quality of the products are very low.
I like getting Baylis & Harding using a little of the shower gel then go away for the weekend with said shower gel in the bag only to find out it's leaked out all over your clothes
Great for cleaning the toilet with. Or gifting to people you dislike!
First time meet this brand on xmas sale. Impressed with the packaging, bought another 2 sets with the socks to treat my wife. Found out the sock actually develop a hole way faster than any cheap socks that I ever find. Now thinking twice to put the lotion on. ..
In all honesty I don't understand how they are still in all the shops. Nobody wants them, the ingredients are awful - nothing good in them. Though I suppose a bargain is a bargain

Honestly Supermarket value lines are better, the lotions made my arms a bit itchy
