This limited 50th anniversary edition free-wheeling Dalek features poseable arm, head and eye. Also includes 10 Dalek phrases with lights and sound FX. The Daleks were created by the Kaled scientist, Davros as travel machines. He had deduced that the years of radiation and chemical poisoning from an ongoing war would lead his race to mutate into immobile organisms. The Dalek travel machines would house these creatures and allow the Kaleds to survive. However, in the course of his experiments, Davros deliberately removed what he considered to be debilitating emotions from the mutants and a force of evil was spawned!

Given that it's Red, White and Blue Dalek - Perfect to send to relatives in Scotland so they know who's boss.

Or maybe not:

"In 1964 Nation told a Daily Mirror reporter that the Dalek name came from a dictionary or encyclopaedia volume, the spine of which read "Dal – Lek" (or, according to another version, "Dal – Eks"). He later admitted that this book and the origin of the Dalek name was completely fictitious, and that anyone bothering to check out his story would have found him out." Wikipedia.

I was suspicious that if volume 1 is A-Dal, that vol 2 seems an awful lot bigger so I googled this. I love that he went to the trouble to make up a story to explain the name. "I just made it up" obviously didn't sound good enough.

I salute and bow to your knowledge - I will never be able to bore my family again

Well say you were an ant... this thing would be like a tower block
Now of course, I'm not an ant but I do know most dalek toys are 4 to 5 inches and this is double that - so I think poetic license is okay

You must work for Wimpey homes.

Ive got this, ordered from forbidden planet a few months ago, and its really good quality

It's true the daleks are racists!!!!
