Was in Aldi in Blackwater/Camberley this morning and they had loads of silver lined, insulated freezer bags for keeping food cold (or hot??) for between £2.69-2.99! (One store scanned at the lower price)

Been after one for a while for when I defrost my freezer and the internal measurements are roughly 39x39x25cm which equates to a whopping 38 litres! No doubt someone will point one out, but not found one anywhere even close to this big for under £3.

In Aldi's standard blue livery with light blue stars & their badge on the bottom corner, so obviously made either by or for themselves and as such should be national (they're not gonna make a load of their own branded bags for ONE shop!)

(for ease of size comparison, the floor tiles in the pic are 13 inches across!)

Thanks, prefect for the back of my motorbike to keep my lid from icing up when I park outside. With this the visor won't be all misty and foggy when I get back on the bike......
Yup, it's certainly big enough to fit a skid lid AND your gloves!!
Could do a few of these in my car boot for the Summer.
Actually, bought just the one, but now i've got home and had a look on tinternet I'm gonna go back and get another just in case. It's cheaper than I thought!
um, that's Aldi's logo on the tag!
Ah, good spot! Can you tell that Lidl & Aldi are directly opposite to each other in Blackwater??!

Apologies to anyone going there to get one in the last few hours.

On the bright side, just bought another one in Aldi in Caversham, Reading and it scanned through 30p cheaper at £2.69.

Ha! We have got a Lidl and Aldi pretty much next door to each other here in sunny Tamworth too! (Lidl is always empty though!).

These bags are great - you wouldn't want to fill them though as they are not strong enough to carry the amount you could get in - unless you only take bread rolls on your picnic!
Oooh a Blackwaterite.... I hope you arent a Hearsey Gardens person.

Might nip in there and get a couple, perfect for the summer and stuff.

No, a Cove lad, but it's only round the corner.

No, they're not designed to hold their own cubic capacity in chunky soup or anything, but they look pretty well made and they carried a load of shopping out to the car, including some nice heavy butternut squashs which are in their Super 6 at the moment, which I was very pleased to find.

Argh the thought of putting an ice cold helmet over your head! I'd have mine on a radiator indoors
somewhere to stick my horse burgers. HOT
I have one and it is great for shopping but like others are saying do not overload with heavy items.
They are usually on sale around Christmas time. I wanted to buy another one half way through the year but didn't see any. So be quick if you want one.
Handy, handy
