Huge K'NEX 325pc tub £14.99 BOGOF @ Woolworths

Found 13th Jun 2007Made hot 13th Jun 2007
My OH has just come back from our local Woolies having spotted that these are advertised instore as 'Buy one get one free'. Went through the till fine & the reciept has "***2nd free on KNEX toys***".
THERE IS NO SIGN OF THIS SAME DEAL ON THE WEBSITE (DIRECT LINK FOR INFO ONLY).

(This is a the same 325pc tub (275 +50 'bonus' pcs) that was posted earlier in the year as a reduction from 30 quid down to 15 & as a buy one get one half price)

I've changed the title & availabilty to reflect that this does seem to be available online as posted below....thanks to those that have posted to point this out.

It is buy one get one free instore :w00t:

Doesnt show online but just had a quick looksee and play when you add 2 it takes the discount off so effectively same price (plus delivery of course!)

does work on-line - just stick 2 in your basket & you'll just get charged for 1.

you bet me to it

Lovely jubbly! Hot as hell.

will they take them off the shelves to fulfil online orders? better to order online and arrange to collect from my local store, rather than pop down on Saturday?

Many thanks to harlzter & ruth1971 for the online info/update.
P&P for online orders is £4.95 (unless delivered to store as Silverbandit suggests) but that covers you no matter how much you order.

I think the tub says "8+", but my lad has been using his since he was 5. I think the 8+ is really the age they can properly start following the instructions in the guides to making the models. (Heck, even I have trouble following some of the guides!!!)

they also have puppy/kitten in my pocket as bogof in store and Barbie on bogof too.....not sure about on-line but were putting out all new pos today

Oh my God, what a nightmare I am having. I went to the Woolies website to see if this was giving the BOGOF online. I put them in my basket (thinking "I'm not going to buy these, as I really don't need them"). I clicked on Express Checkout by mistake, while looking to update my basket and, without even having to sign in or enter a password, my order went through!! I was on to Customer Services in less than 5 minutes to be told that they can't cancel the order!! Can you believe it? Then when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told they were all in a meeting. So I asked for someone to call me back when the meeting was over, only to be told that they can't make calls from where they are (this was an 0870 number I was calling). So I waited a few minutes for a supervisor to come and talk to me only to be told the same things. They can't cancel the order. They told me to ring my credit card company and ask them to stop the payment, but of course they can't do that because cc is a guaranteed form of payment. The payee has to stop the payment, or agree to stop the payment.
Customer Service on Woolworths online is practically non-existent.
Rant over, but I am still fuming.
Still voted hot though, as it is a good deal, if you want it!

And, by the way, it is NOT showing on my confirmation email as Buy One Get One Free.

LOL - however, it's obviously too Efficient!

Shindin....I have had troubles in the past from woolies too and they told me to refuse the package when it arrives......it then gets returned and you should get refunded but watch this as sometimes they conveniently 'forget'!

An express checkout means exactly that, you have obviously logged in and left payment details at some time so you are able to use this :giggle:

This offer went live Monday, be selling out quick at 'my' store, we didn't get many in either.

You can refuse the order when it arrives, then you get your money back, albeit a little while later.

Oh, looks like someone else replied to this shibi din - however this is a super deal, my boys will be chuffed, thank you so much Charliethirtytwo and your Other Half!!

Ordered instore, great spot, thanks.:)

Has anyone else checked the price on their confirmation e-mail? I just noticed mine says £29.98.

Also, my order is only "processing"...

"The available stock levels for this product have changed since you placed your order and we are not able to fulfil until more stock is available. We will wait for 3 days for more stock, if we are unable to obtain sufficient quantities after this period, your order will be cancelled, sorry for any inconvenience."

"Has anyone else checked the price on their confirmation e-mail? I just noticed mine says £29.98."

So does mine. I don't think you will get charged that. Check your account on their website for the price your gonna be charged.

This product is not currently available. Please check back later

Seems they have taken ALL KNEX Stuff Offline at the moment
Shops selling as per usual, BOGOF is not advertised in Stores.

WRONG - BOGOF IS advertised in stores.....OH said they had (admitted) fairly small (around A5 size) POS advertising stating BOGOF.
It was on an aisle end display rather than with the rest of the stock.

ordered 2 for delievery cool brill offer thanks !!

shihi - if you want I'll take them off your hands, presuming you can change the delivery address to mine?

Heh, 4"x12" to be exact, and yes, the main offer will be on an end. However, it will also be in the normal stock area too, where there should be a smaller 3"x6" sign. This item will be on the shelf there too. Its BOGOF on all Knex for the next two weeks, maybe more, I can't remember exactly.

P.s. You may have gathered that I work for Woolworths (unfortunately...)

Nice one. Thanks CHARLIETHIRTYTWO!
