£1.48 is a rough price - I managed to lose my receipt within a nanosecond of leaving the store, but it was definitely advertised at less than £1.50.

This wok is huge - 35 cm diameter (or 13 3/4 inches for those of us who still use old money) - and really deep.

It is non-stick and has two handles and you'll need them - it is heavy without food in it!

Works on all cooking surfaces and is dishwasher proof.
Wok else can I tell you? Bargain!

If you don't already have an Ikea Family card, you can pick one up at the tills for free.

Even if the OP got it wrong, it is still a fantastic price :), but remember it is the Family Card price that is quoted.

It is £2.93 in store, but very clearly advertised at roughly half that when you use the Family card. I did vaguely glance at my receipt before losing it and it was definitely 1.48 ish

This was Ikea Croydon btw (Oh, the joys of Purley Way on a Saturday afternoon), although I am sure it is the same all over.

Thanks for adding the pic Predikuesi

Don't worry, I know you are right about the price. It is often like this with the Family Card.

You are welcome regarding the pic.

Offers on products as part of the family scheme often differ from store to store. There's usually a list of offers for family members at each branch in the Family section, but for some reason they aren't loading for me.

Anyway, I'm sure the OP is right, and it's a proper bargain, so heat most definitely added!

have one of these, very good wok, by the way OP Purley way is a nightmare at weekends as said, which means you are local to me.

Bougt one of these woks before but at a higher price.

Quality leaves a lot to be desired as the coating was easily scratched even with a wooden spatula etc.

Far better to save your £s and get a decent Tefal one if you can. Sorry Ikea, at least you have other items that are better!

I do agree with the previous post. I had to bin the wok within days of buying it as anything I put in there stuck. "woking" there is a mess, so go for a decent one. TKMax retails them at a good price.

I bought one of these but after a few uses the coating started coming off leaving black bits all over my food.

Got one of these myself abut 2 years ago now and its still going strong. I use it 3-4 times a week. Definetly a great bargain.

For anybody who is having problems with it - Maybe you are not using it properly!!!

I bought 239862 of these and turned the Angel of the North into a dalek.

Thanks mate it's a Good finding, Heat added.
And about the quality I recon one should go for it. coz a friend of mine is using it for almost a year and she don't have any complaints for it.
Good one:thumbsup:

Cheap and nasty ****.... a waste of £2.93.
