also features USB PVR, allowing you to record onto a hard drive

if the tv is off, they don't always recognise a usb stick connected for recording off the programme guide's timer if you're at work for example, but they usually do recognise a separately powered hard drive. which is what I currently use when I'm not home

To Be honest I have ordered from JL as I tried a couple of price matches with them and this was the one they accepted.

This one has webOS and thus mean that it will allow multi-tasking along with the other smart functions. I believe this one runs webOS 2.0 as it's 2015 model.
The one listed by OP, on the other hand runs MiraCast, smart function put into LG tv's since 2011.
Don't know which one to actually go for, I believe a lot of apps lost support on the model that is originally listed here by op, don't think miracast supports wuaki or youtube either.

LG teles suck. Not even 2 years old my sons 4 x capacitors blow. Common fault, black screen with volume. Youtube has 300,000 hits on this one fault.

2 mins with a soldering iron...

Not had any trouble with my lg TVs over the years, only with the samsungs I've had caps blow. Minor issue to fix though.
