BOSS GREEN Lighter Knitted Trainers

I know this is a Mike Ashley firm and nobody is a fan. This is the best price I can find for a decent looking pair of boss trainers.

Voted hot because of the price but wouldn't pay it myself, rather spend £40 on pair of Adidas or Nike's

I wouldn't normally myself but this is the first time I have taken a punt. Thanks for vote.
I wish these were Boss trainers. I love Springsteen.

Agreed. Boss is the right brand for suits, and Nazi uniforms of course.

A ridiculous choice for trainers (and watches!).

Would you pay £80 if they didn't have BOSS in massive letters? Same trainers, just as comfortable, just as well stitched together...

33557306-QUkvZ.jpg
Or, as BOSS like to plonk their name on watches too, would you go out in these?

33557306-m7gvA.jpg
I've always hated this kind of cross-branding, ever since everyone used to buy things like this from home shopping catalogues;

33557306-lnoTN.jpg
They are all the sign of no taste whatsoever.
Not worth your while posting anything on here unless it’s something that’s worth a few pennies , people that can’t afford named brands and usually buy their clothes in Tesco’ always have to try to belittle everything.

So why buy anything branded do you use non branded toothpaste,ketchup,tyres,clothes,aftershave/perfume? the list goes on. You my friend are shallow. If people want to you buy it fair play, you keep buying what you want it's called an opinion or does your parents dress you?! Keyboard warrior

That's a plain silly way of looking at it, or perhaps you misunderstood my point? I am 'complaining' about inappropriate branding, not branding in general.

To answer your examples;

I use Oral B toothpaste - not Sony
I use Heinz ketchup - not Persil
My car has Michelin tyres - not Rolex
I wouldn't wear clothing that was branded 'Dyson'
I wear Armani aftershave = not One Direction

Get it?
Good price. Usually around £120 for Boss train

I sincerely apologise that I may be about to sound like a frightful show-off, but here is a photo I have just taken of my £4,000 watch sat on my £2,000 laptop.

Please be reassured that I am not complaining about badly branded trainers because the £80 price tag is out of my reach.

p.s. for the eagle eyed viewers out there, the watch IS genuine, but the rubber strap isn't!

Not sure what the point you are trying to make is there.

a) it was three years ago

and

b) Bench actually make clothing I believe, not ketchup or vacuum cleaners

Boss is a fashion brand in the same way Samsung is an electronics brand who make fridges, phones, laptops etc

With the comments you've made, you have made yourself look like a right t0sser on this thread. Happy Easter

I can live with that if that’s how you see it - me looking a tosserthat is. I maintain 100% that trainers with BOSS printed down the side are tragic.

I can honestly say that I don’t have a single item of Bench clothing in my home (as stated previously, that post was 3 years ago) however, they have been established for almost 30 years and have CLOTHES stores in some pretty high profile shopping centres, so your attempted point is a fail unfortunately.

I marginally agree with what you're saying but this argument really is one of personal preference. I really like the Boss brand and have bought tons of their stuff, especially out of the Boss Green trainers range purely because I like the shape and quality of their trainers.

However, I do try and avoid like the plague any of their items that have BOSS emblazoned across the front in big letters as I think they are vile and tasteless (my opinion I realise). Not to mention I begrudge becoming a free advertising bill board for Boss whilst paying good money for the 'privilege' to do so.

These trainers are not too bad in at least the boss lettering is the same colour as the trainers. If it was white lettering that would be pretty obnoxious.

You wear Armani aftershave? Armani sells exactly the same products that Hugo Boss sells - suits, trainers, aftershave, the list goes on.

You should think before you try to belittle people’s deals.

No, you are mixing up which brands should be associated with which products again.

I don’t wear Armani trainers!

Boss make some nice aftershaves, I would have no issue if that was the deal posted.

I guess you probably wear Adidas aftershave, with you generally making poor choices.

p.s. the deal is currently -152 degrees.

The public have voted, and agree that you are wrong.

OK I hear you, but FASHION includes shoes, tops, bottoms, underwear, watches, jackets and accessorises. so your examples show that you are either out of touch or intentionally being inconsistent. I would buy any of the above from a fashion brand...

So you're a chav then? Fair play to you.

Its called choice. The concept of labelling other pple for their choices is SO yesterday, so backward. Actually on most morden circles that label "chav" is so embarassing to use it...
If I was allowed to name-call, I would say pple who call others chavs are those that are backward or narcissistic and feeble-minded.
