Agree, not a patch on those SS uniforms...
I used to like and buy Boss fashion, however even when I went through that silly phase, I'd never have bought this.

The way they've cut the bottoms of the letter off to try and look "cool" just makes it look even more ridiculous.
I'm tempted, counter, counter-culture must be cool?
Price has gone up to £21.89

Zzzzz.

At the time Germans were brainwashed into thinking they were fighting off evil. Boss didn't make uniforms thinking "yeah, let's support these evil fascist people" but it was more like "we are proud to serve our country in their fight against evil".

Hindsight means nothing in this case. Smoking is known to cause cancer now but back many many years ago people were smoking to improve their health as all information provided to them at the time suggested it was good for you.

Really, what about the skulls on the hats?

"These SS uniforms were tailored to project authority and foster fear. During the war, the German clothing factory that eventually became the international menswear powerhouse Hugo Boss produced thousands of SS and other uniforms"

They were in the news last week for threatening legal action against a small Welsh brewery, called Boss Beer (or similar). Just not a nice company, I think.

They were sending out lots of cease and desist letters to any company with "boss" in their name... Hence, Joe Lycett's little stunt to change his name to Hugo Boss.
A brand that should be avoided, the quality isn't much better than Primark and I think they've screwed themselves over with the suing of small businesses. Joe Lycett highlighted something they've been doing for many years. with the size of their legal team and their seemingly infinite financial resources they just bully small businesses into submission knowing they can't afford to fight it whilst having logos/branding no where near similar to that of Hugo Boss.

Definitely one to avoid, no need for such bully tactics in 2020 when they're a well establshed brand.
