The page says there is a newer model (which actually costs less currently)

Err, it costs less money?

Can you use the pen on tablets like the Samsung S3?

Cheers for the deduction, Batman

I meant did anyone know if the new model messed something up or dropped a feature, as it's cheaper and a lower Amazon average review. But it seems the same so ordered that one

I'm in the same boat. My 10 year old son is looking a graphics tablet for his birthday. I was looking at the wacom tablet at argos for £60. Comes in black or a blue/green sort of colour.

Looks like the one in deal comes with accessories like case and gloves, unlike new version?

Wacom are the market leader in this tech... your son deserves the best, get the Wacom, I have one, had it years, don't use it very often but it's still a great tablet. I use it with Photoshop occasionally, it recognises that I have Photoshop installed and binds keys for me etc..., I expect the Wacom will do the same for other software too.

They look like the same model to me. But this one with the kit.
Could be mistaken but this looks like a better deal once you apply the 5% discount.
Also, check if your account is eligable for the £5 of £25 spend that came up on here a week ago.

Thanks. Totally agree with you. Watched a YouTube video comparing the huion tablet and the wacom Intuos. Bought the wacom. Seems to be a great little starter graphics tablet. Do you need to wear those glove wrist things when using graphics tablets?

No. They seem to be a part of a cleaning kit from the looks of it. I have never had to clean my Wacom at all, well except dust when it hasn't been used a while.
The glove works best on larger screen based tablets
Is this any good my 10 year old daughters after one
I swore to never buy another Wacom. I’ve had two and in both cases, they stopped updating the drivers after about 2 years, meaning they didn’t work when I updated my OS
wacom all the way!!!
It's tiny!
I have both and the only problem I have had is getting it to work on Gimp. They work fine and it's a good cheap Christmas gift for a Child.
