Since when has tattoos and being a meat head got anything to do with how your food is cooked/what they do to it ? I mean do you ask to see the cook/chef at all eateries you visit so you can evaluate their tattoos that they may or may not have ?

Adorablemunchkin

Not being funny but have you seen the state off the staff??? That meathead with the tattoos probably does something really nasty to the food!

Adorablemunchkin

I wonder if they allow you to pay for one and give it to a homeless person?

Refurbished item

Scrungee

I have the Oly 40-150 PRO + 1.4 TC and there might be a problem claiming cashback on a lens split from a combined set. The cashback is only for the lens, not for a lens + tc. Just checked my box and there's only one serial number, so when Olympus check it will probably come up as a non eligble lens. Great lens, very pleased with mine, got it with the tc for just over £1,000 at a special price for a group who attended an Olympus photograpy workshop. That price included an additional 3 years warranty. P.S, Their price of £199 for the 1.4 teleconverter is £60 cheaper than the lowest price elsewhere according to camerapricebuster and perhaps of interest to anybody with the 300mm f4 PRO (also got that lens). http://www.greatwesterncameras.co.uk/epages/BT3509.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/BT3509/Products/"Olympus M.Zuiko Digital MC-14 1.4x Teleconverter"

h4music

Great specialist camera retailer. Shame they are now being driven away by internet Giants.

fwestivus

If you're feeling like your wallet is far too heavy, olympus are doing £175 cashback on the E-M1 ii and then £125 back each on up to 3 Pro lenses, so if you want a top-of-the-line camera and this lens, you get it for £675. A pretty good price for new, even without the cashback offers

Cheapest petrol I have seen for some time. Been at this price for one week.
HamzaOfBirmingham

On your side.

duncanb1973

just because tax makes up a high proportion of the cost doesn't justify the cost. Why its £1.20/l in some areas and £1.30 in others can not be blamed on tax. Yes tax on fuel is high, but at 7p/l you refer to means on a 40 L purchase thats £2.80 to cover costs and profit on one transaction that takes under 5 mins

JPS

Shocking to see how much fuel has gone up in price the past few months. Really not fair or right when it cannot be justified.

nihcaj

I was envious when a friend told me he had paid £1.19 at Sainsbury's Castle Bromwich - its just a bit too far out of the way for me :-(

https://www.resortsworldbirmingham.co.uk/shop/ It looks very much like an outlet mall to me , lots of the stores call themselves outlet , think Nike chose factory store as that’s what the local one is called in Cheshire Oaks In grand scheme of things does anybody really care if it’s an outlet , a store or a factory shop as long as you can get trainers for £4.50 a pair personally I couldn’t care less myself 👌🏼

ant2d1

No theyre completely different as ive explained

jopsey

The store in resorts world is a factory shop ( is that not the same as outlet shop ? Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m presuming it’s the same )with discounted items throughout the store but as I’ve said I didn’t really look at other items

ant2d1

Yes it makes a massive difference. The store in resorts world has trainers on the shelf for £99 plus on average and full priced clothes. I live next to an outlet store where average price is £30 and much bigger discounts on everything. £100 gets you trainers and 2 full outfits. No one was nit picking @jopsey it was a genuine question. Now i wont waste my time driving over tomorrow...

jopsey

https://www.resortsworldbirmingham.co.uk/whats-here/shops/nike/ I was visiting for the day and Not local so not entirely sure if it’s an outlet store /a factory shop or just a regular Nike shop but does it really matter ? Seriously can’t believe people find the need to nit pick on deals I was hoping to maybe save a family a few £££ Kids trainers at an expensive time of year , could get 6 pairs of trainers at the expected cost of 1 pair imagine how much that would help a struggling family

The kind of long term future clients they'll see the most business out of would appreciate it if you reversed that formula. Might improve their maths skills too if they have to work out their free chips formula results and show their working out. Would be the chips equivalent to dangling a carrot in front of a donkey.

Wendy's was in Soho?! Damn, if it was still in the UK I would have made a special trip, love them because of their Twitter feed! I went to Fatburger and the burger was much bigger for the price - Shake Shack burger was lovely but too small. Haven't tried Five Guys yet, they are next on my list though.

The scotsman also tends to have 2 for 1 for specific shows every day. Furthermore, I hope that everyone that cares about the Fringe is aware of the Half Price Hut which comes as part of the fringe app. You do have to queue up to get your tickets but at least you can check which shows are available from the comfort of your own phone.
