I signed up when I was in Manchester briefly recently. I am a great fan of …I signed up when I was in Manchester briefly recently. I am a great fan of cycling, and a great fan of these sharing schemes. But I was hugely disappointed by these bikes. They are a travesty of what cycling is about, zooming along with little effort on a really efficient machine. These bikes are hard work, heavy, too low geared, uncomfortable with the puncture proof tyres, and the seat doesn't go high enough. The only thing I liked was the twistgrip bell.If this is someone's first experience of cycling they are probably unlikely to come back.I got my £29 deposit refunded, but not the balance of the minimum payment of £5. So it was an expensive trial.

Haven't been cycling that long and don't yet have a bike of my own so gave Mobikes a try recently and it was horrific. However at the time I thought it was just me being a terrible cyclist and was on the verge of packing it all in. Thankfully you posted this message and have changed my mind so I'm going to give it another try albeit not using Mobike!

Always been this price. Yuppies out

Place is full of plonkers

Always been like this since I've lived here. Love the place. It's a bit dirty, the movies often start late, there's been a couple times where there were technical problems, but it's *usually* fine and for £5, you really cant complain. Screens and sound are also respectable enough to still totally get the full cinema experience.

I'll be there tonight actually. I go to movies way more now that I live nearby Peckhamplex than I did in the US.

They dodge the tax that everyone else has to pay.

The same as HUKD. Money of which is earned from other people's unrewarded time and effort..

Sounds like an eighties band!

At first glance I read "Fine Young Cannibals".

^^ I'd rather see Amazon bankrupt.

1. They dodge the tax that everyone else has to pay.
2. They don't set low prices any more, they just drop their prices to match someone else.
3. They give a 3rd rate service to those that refuse to buy Prime (I've ordered in stock items that have waited 10 days before they were despatched).

All very well if you have an available 'local' library

Try putting your county in my local library is not shown yet when I put my county in it works

Most authorities will offer free ebooks, audiobooks and magazines. Different authorities will use different providers, so check with your local library if you can't find yours here.

The libraries I work for use BorrowBox and Rbdigital for example.

All available in Bristol libraries, its a shame Bristol City Council are cutting back from 29 librarys to only 9, but hay they offer free book downloads hoping that no one will notice that the librarys have gone!!!
