Looks like a similar deal is available on iOS for 99p, although the iOS edition appears to have been sent back from thefuture.

Human Anatomy Atlas 2018 - Complete 3D Human Body by Visible Body

The iOS version, also suggests there's an in-app-purchase, but it's clearer that this is for 'patient education animations' , whatever they might be.

Description also warns: 'includes . . . male and female gross anatomy' - eww! ;-)

There's Human Anatomy Atlas 2017 for 89p (not showing as discounted), and …There's Human Anatomy Atlas 2017 for 89p (not showing as discounted), and Human Anatomy Atlas for £20.99. Does anyone know the difference between the two apps?

The 89p one -
"In-app Products
£18.49 per item"

The £20.99 one -
"In-app Products
£2.35 - £7.88 per item"

It seems that with one you get ripped off sooner, the other one later

Very useful, heat OP!
How much is it usually...not clear on the store
Brilliant app
Apparently you have to buy more in-app?

Just downloaded this app. No additional purchase is needed and it shows you all of the cross sections etc. It is an amazing app!
I might buy this and send it to my old bosses.
Maybe then they can find their RS from their elbow.

Deek had an abacus!
Wow ,bought that ,thanks gsawkins .I wish I had had this for my I.T.E.C anatomy massage course , this looks much better than the books and user friendly , just good to understand how the body works and where the batteries go !

Where did you hear that?

I've had it for the past year and I haven't had to buy anything.

The only upgrade is the Patient Education package which is £18.49. That is only designed for medical professionals to educate lay people on medical conditions etc.

There are other apps such as Anatomy and Physiology and Muscle Premium which are more useful to medical students etc.

who are the target audience? Medical students or lay people?
Great find, but it's enormous!
A good excuse to buy a cheap chromebook

This is a great offer but all beware it is actually aimed at professionals - my med school has a subscription to this for students. So it probably will be helpful for those in these areas but otherwise it's probably very much in depth.

In any case, great price for a professional product!
Much of anatomy is location and name ..anyone find the key identifiers a key spots

Seriously? The biology GCSE requires this level of knowledge? I'd be surprised if even the A Level needs this much information. This is going from my experience of both of those things anyway, although those experiences are like 5-8 years old.

GCSE nor A-Level Biology require anywhere near as much detail as this app.

The app is ideal for 1st year medical/dental students. It has enough basic information about the anatomy. However, it isn't very precise.

It isn't in depth for medical students. For lay people, then yes, it is very much in depth.

It does, I've just been doing the clotting of blood in amazing detail with a 15 year old.

There isn't a pc version, but you can dual boot windows and adroid or boot android from a USB stick or run android as a virtual machine if you have vm workstation or other software to create virtual machines
it looks to me like the 2018 version is not too far away from release so they are getting what they can for 2017 version while they can. 2017 came out beginning of October 2016 by looks of it ?
