Gutted. I paid £250 for the 250gb model a couple of months back. Also last week my neighbour bought this model from amazon marketplace "box damaged" for £160 & when he received it it was in perfect new condition!

Just as a word of warning, the remote control on this is crappy, it lags & only works if you're directly in front of it.

Yeah, the remote is crappy, the EPG is awful & it has an annoying habit of putting random pop up messages on screen every so often (do you want to turn the system off in 1 minute?, do you want to scan for new channels?). It still gets ranked very highly in all the reviews though so the rest of em must be abysmal...

I've been using the Humax foxsat for a few months now. I've never got a message like that. I think you might be better looking in your menu to see if you've enabled auto shutoff.

I didn't think they did a 250gb model? I thought it was 320 or 500? Anyway, £209 is a good price, but the same price was posted earlier at dixons, but with Quidco.

They only do 320 or 500gb. Unless he fitted his own hard drive to lower it to 250gb lol.

It's about time Humax updated this - seems it's been around for ages.

The Humax we are talking about is freesat (Which you need a satalite dish). What you are recommending here is freeview.

Edit: Looking into this, only tesco sell it for £200. I'd like to know how you got it for £130,
