What's the difference between this and the PVR-9300TB, or any other freeview humax box for that matter?

Twin Tuner

* Recording two channels whilst watching a live TV or play-back

* Picture in picture to see 2 programmes on 1 screen

And lots of other features like usb etc

Just my 2p worth, I had a Umax PVR before I got SKY-HD. I really liked it. Also their customer support was excellent. I needed a bios update, and rather than rely on the broadcasted update, they sent me a cd and a serial cable so I could do it myself
Customer service felt really personal and professional, which really endeared me to Humax.

I bought one from RicherSounds pricebeat vs. Laskys for £109 a couple of weeks back and it went straight back because the fan is way too noisy.

Nice interface but super-basic model - front panel only has a few LEDs (no channel display), and on the back you've only got two scarts, nothing else.

Have just picked up a Goodmans twin-tuner model from Currys in-store for £50 and I don't mind the idiosyncracies of the firmware or the weird remote - if it wakes up to record something in the middle of the night, I don't!

Don't forget to go through Quidco for 3% cashback.

I bought this model a few months ago and it is probably the most satisfying bit of tech I have ever purchased.

Also, Humax customer services are second to none. I had a small problem with the remote control, phoned them for advice and a new one arrived the next day FOC!

The 9200 is the older model (I have it). The 9150 has a smaller hdd (160 instead of 320) and has no HDMI as the 9300 does.

The Humax machines are great but all have niggles (mine misses the start momentarily of most recordings when using 'record on time settings') but I'm still glad I got mine - they're not perfect but they really do change how you watch TV.
