Wrong, this includes free postage, humax charges you sometimes extortionate amount (eg my postcode has a blanket surcharge even though I'm on the mainland)

This has an ethernet connection but don't expect much, I believe the humax portal has closed (I didn't use it anyway), and it's not set-up for iplayer etc.But you can access your home network to play media files, and you can buy a Humax wifi dongle. Good unit for HD+, although the signal needs to be good, and I find my older Freeview Humax can lock onto any signal.

Blame the couriers as they almost all do it for the Scottish Highlands etc. I know the Royal Mail don't add a surcharge but their service doesn't suit all retailers. They choose a courier to suit the majority which is a bummer if you are in that minority.

I know, firstly I was just showing that this posting price is cheaper than humax themselves. And I have had things delivered by DPD where the shipping cost from a seller has been the same across the UK including NI, but here Humax are using DPD and their contract places surcharges in certain areas. And why not allow the slower delivery time at the same cost? So some sellers, as with Amazon here, have negotiated a good contract or absorbed some costs which is fair when it comes to internet shopping.
