Posted this a couple of weeks back when they reduced them to £120. They've reduced them by another £30. Would def grab one if the reception wasn't so rubbish were I live. 6 left in Asda Shore Rd, Belfast

The Humax PVR-9300T/500 ‘s dual recording system allows you to record one channel while watching another, or record two while watching a previously recorded programme. Picture In Picture (PIP) technology even allows you to view two programs on one screen! Watch what you want, at your leisure without having to wait for it to appear on catch up TV.

An integrated 500 GB HDD equals up to 300 hours of recording, delivering an abundance of space for all the soaps, films and shows you could ever ask for! Choose from the wide range of entertainment readily available on the Freeview+ service and pick shows to store with one touch record scheduling through an Electronic Programming Guide.

I'm kinda new to this, but can we view the recorded shows on a computer later on? Or is it just on the box? Is there a way to hack it so this can be done. Thanks in advance.

Probably impossible, or otherwise difficult and impractical.

These are great. I've had a 9200T for years and I love it. Transferring your programs to your computer is simple via a USB cable. No need to hack as the software can be downloaded from the Humax website if you have a PC. Just hunt around a little and you'll find software to transfer your programs for a Mac too. I'm seriously tempted by this offer. Red hot!
Is this freeview HD? or just regular?
Keep your receipt. I had one and it broke down within two years. I got my money back without any hassle! Keep YOUR RECEIPT!

I have the 9300T - unfortunately you can't transfer to a computer via USB. There is a USB port but it doesn't actually do anything!
Good box though and great price!

I think the USB port is on 9200 only and not on 9300 so you can't get the programs off a 9300 easily.

This is a 'regular' (i.e. standard definition and NOT HD) box.
I'd never buy anything without Freeview HD symbol.

I'll need to check that out.

I wouldn't say it was simple. I found the sofware rather clunky and it takes quite a while to download to your PC. In my case, its a pain to unplug the 9200 and take it upstairs to the PC. Transferring onto a memory stick would be so much easier but the USB on the Humax was really only meant for firmware updates.

Wow, that must make it really difficult if you needed a new freezer, or anything for that matter.

Humax 9300T for £90, hot, a lot cheaper than refurbs off Humax direct, especially the 500gb one.
Great price good find.
Would be on my way to Asda now if i did not allready have two of them.

Thanks for that mate, saved me the trouble!
Rang around the ones in Norfolk and no stock available and Norwich and Yarmouth both stated that cannot remember ever having these in stock!
none at asda merry hill or asda brierley Hill!

Yes, it could be easier but my 9200T is permanently connected by a 5m USB cable to my Mac and although the software is a little 'clunky' as you say it still works fine 99% of the time.
2 in stock in asda living Bradford Forster square, £75 !!!!!
i got last one in kingston park half price £75 told humax a good make
This isn't freeview HD but you still get a good picture. For a 500gb drive and the quality of picture you do get, this is a bargain.
None in stock Ayr or Irvine. They said they'd never heard of them! oO
Got one of these 4 years ago and it's still going strong. Yes it's not direct HD, but that would cost a lot more. Definitely hot at this price for this model.

Considering there are only 4 HD channels (and who wants to watch ITV in HD anyway?), it's not much of a loss.
None in Asda Lincoln, only some crappy Goodmans offering for £100
Got the 2nd last one in ASDA shore road. Last one went a few minutes later. Thanks OP!

Happy days. Would have snapped one up myself but the tv reception were I am is woeful.

Thanx for checking, saves me a visit! (_;)
I saw these in one last week for £120 and was torn. Guess i'll be making a trip out tomorrow to see if' that's been reduced!
Great Product. We use our Humax box all day, every day. Record the programmes then fastwind the adverts. Wouldn't be without it.
Price from Humax Direct is £179. I got mine two months ago from Richer Sounds for £140 and thought it was a good deal then. The price of £90 (if you can get one) is a belting deal. Hot !!!
None in ADSA Nuneaton

Explain your logic, please.
Found one of these this morning - a 320GB model - for £70. Had a £5 off Price check voucher too, so only cost me £65.

Been waiting for a good quality well priced box for a while. Had a few Thomson boxes, but they have died over the years, so happy for a Humax with HDMI output for this price.

Just been into Ayr 5.00pm, and there were 3 in stock - now 2.
