Thought it was freesat for a minute! Not a bad price if you don't need HD recording though.

These are nice machines if you don't want to view or record in HD.

I wish someone would drop the price of the HDR-FOXT2 (Freeview HD recorder) as it has been stuck at around £300 for months.

iis freesat better than freeview or is the difference only that you need a dish for the free sat thingie? what's better qulity?

Depends what you want to watch. Good to have both imo.
Why don't you compare it yourself by going to their websites to see what channels there are.

This price has been available for quite some time. The price should go down even more as HD becomes the norm.

This is still a lovely PVR for freeview, anyone without HD requirements won't go far wrong with the Humax PVR here. Good price for a quality unit.

I have Freeview and Freesat and I'm sure that the picture for SD broadcasts is better on Freesat than Freeview. Not sure about HD or the technical specs. that seem to make this difference.
