And another no month for me. I'm sure this will please many out there, just not my cup of tea. A bargain nonetheless!
Saw a rumour it was Dark Souls 3 and was like 'heeeeeell naaaaaw it won't be that good'
So can I just buy this month and not have to subscribe to buy next's months?
Yes u can
Bit gutted at Tacoma being in the last bundle. Already had Civ VI deluxe, and Owlboy isn't really my bag so sat it out

Yes you can. Once you buy it all you have to do is go to your account and click on "cancel my plan".

You still get dark souls 3 and all the games that come out later this month as well.
It's tempting, my friend keeps asking me to play this with him...
Excellent! I was really close to get the base game for £9 from gamesbillet.
How much is the rest of the DLC usually during sales?
Pay now or gamble the pound will get stronger?
Uber hot. Love this game.
Nooooooooooooo......... I've bought the game on the last steam sale 😭😭😭😭
And I haven't even got the chance to play it

You can have my Tacoma key if you like. I already had that one.
So is dark souls 3 with all released dlc or only some of it? Thanks
I already have this on Xbox...do I really need this game again? Why do I want to buy it again?!
As a completionist who will be looking to pick up dark souls and it’s season pass (I have dark souls 1 and 2 but not 3), would this be counterintuitive in the long run? I feel like it would be cheaper to wait and buy the deluxe/gold/whatever they call it which has both? Individual DLC rarely goes on sale while season passes do.

Only DLC missing from this deal is The Ringed City. It's £11.99 I believe but am certain it's been discounted a few times on steam.
I played this ages ago and couldn't even get past the first boss, I like the look of the game but I'm worried that I'll just be stuck in the same place forever

It takes a bit of practice and timing like anything other game. Getting over the intimidation factor can be a big hurdle. It looks tough but it`s really not. Also learning not to mash buttons in panic is good too. Plenty of tips/videos online.
* also, sorry mods.

I'll give it a go, plus there will be other games added, I tried Nioh too on PC but gave up on it. Just got to get better I guess

Well it's up to you, but i think it's worth it. I think if you look at the price you're paying 8.70 for the base game and 1 half of the dlc in the season pass. I bought dark souls 3 on the winter steam sale for 10 pound and I remember the deluxe edition being around 25. So if you buy the ringed city dlc (11.99), you're basically paying 20 pound, plus a load of other games. That's the thing about pc gaming you never know if there's a better deal just around the corner.

It`s a great deal for the price. I pre-ordered, the only game I`ve ever done it for, but I`ve got more than had my money`s worth and it`s still fun to go through now, Ariandel was tough but kind of short. The Ringed City I never quite got on with. It`s good but it feels a bit artificially difficult. On the plus side you get to work out plenty of anger issues.

The game does have a steep initial learning curve but's immensely satisfying. The important thing to remember is that the game is designed around cautiousness.

Block and/or dodge attacks, only get your own hits in when he's left himself open (and don't get carried away when attacking and leave yourself open) and try to position yourself best to avoid his attacks.

Don't get dishearted if you die a bunch, the game is designed to give you a trial by fire, especially on bosses. Every time you attempt something you get a little bit better at the game. It's immensely satisfying to go from getting pummled by a boss to beating it.

Also, past the first boss, you have the ability to summon people (both CPU and other players) to help you fight them and it can make a tough boss much easier.

Also, always stop playing when you're getting frustrated. DS3 doesn't quite have anything like the DS Anor Londo archers but it's still possible for the red mist to descend and you just won't have fun, nor will you likely make much progress.

For any other spares that you might have, if you're not already aware of it, I run a weekly giveaway here on HUKD and donations are always very - but please there's no pressure whatsoever to do so, of course. Please do also feel free to enter yourself!

If you try this again , start as knight which is the easiest class and try taking black firebomb as your starting gift and use it on the second phase of the boss (where he gains giant black arm )
