The Humble Paradox Bundle 2018 - Nothing paradoxical about this bundle. Yep, it's totally straightforward: Get games like Stellaris, Pillars of Eternity, Crusader Kings II + "The Old Gods" DLC, and more from Paradox Interactive while supporting charity. But wait, if this bundle isn't paradoxical, does that make it a paradox after all?

Pay what you want. Normally, the total cost for these games is as much as $239. Here at Humble Bundle, though, you choose the price!

Base tier (72p):
- Cities in Motion 2
- Magicka 2
- Majesty 2 Collection

More than average (currently around £5):
- Crusader Kings 2 + old gods DLC
- Pillars of Eternity - Hero Edition
- Hearts of Iron III Collection
- Europa Universalis III Complete

£8.64:
- Stellaris

Quite a straightforward bargain that. Pillars of Eternity and Stellaris the standouts for me.
Good bundle, it's a shame it's only the steam versions that are available.
This is the reason why I unsubscribed from Humble Monthly, two previous headliners in this bundle. Great for those that didn't subscribe those months though I guess, Pillars of Eternity is a solid pick-up. The rest in Tier 1 & 2 would be a bonus.
Amazing deal, thanks theworldofgames. I've had Stellaris on my wishlist for ages and so all these other games are a bonus. Heat.
Stellaris will suck your life away if you get into it. Hugely addictive.

Not played it in a while - might see whats changed...
Been waiting for Pillars to go on a bundle for what seems like an eternity..
Amazing price for all this.

Great price for Pillars + Stellaris
Literally every game already in my library and unplayed except for Majesty 2. $1 well spent (I am a completionist!)
Does Stellaris come with any of the DLC?
Magicka 2 in the base tier with not a thing that interests me in the higher ones? They're spoiling me.

Absolutely fantastic couch co-op, if anyone's after some.

Well... I got Both stellaris and pillars on the humble monthly 😭😭, but luckily I want the CK2 for ages. Obviously this is great bundle for anyone who hasn't got stellaris and pillars.

Btw... what happen to the surprise game on mid tier? Does it dissappear forever??? I love the surprise element of it
not bad, ill get bta for pillars once i get paid was planning on picking it up anyway
Already own the lot

CK2 by far the best game there, though Pillars is great too.
Magicka 2 is a lot of fun, but absolutely needs friends to get the most out of it.

Cities in Motion 2 & Majesty 2 seem unique enough that someone will love them, but not for me.

HoI3 & EU3 are rather defunct for newcomers*, not sure why they're in the 2nd tier tbh, just padding?
*(though there are no doubt die hard purists who still love them).

Stellaris; meh. Played lots of hours, but can't say I really enjoyed it all that much.
As far as PI grand strategy goes, it's but a sickly cousin to CK2 & EU4.
Pillars of Eternity is just 'Pillars of Eternity' i.e. not Hero/Royal edition and doesn't include any DLC. Stellaris is 'Stellaris: Horizon Signal' i.e not Nova/Galaxy edition and doesn't include any DLC.

Only one on there I liked the look of was magicka 2, some of the rest just seemed like the same neverwinter knock-offs as usual... I don't mean that to sound like they copied neverwinter, just that they all seem very similar and generic by now, and so don't really interest me much any more.

Thanks OP for the head-up, might have missed magicka 2 if not for this post
Crusader Kings II
253 hrs on record
Majesty 2 Collection
96 hrs on record
There is some real value here.

I could be wrong but I could've sworn on activation it said Hero Edition for Pillars of Eternity. Anyone able to confirm?

What do you see here? store.steampowered.com/acc…es/

It was the Hero Edition with Humble Monthly last year, so I would expect that it's probably the same here.

"Pillars of Eternity - Hero Edition" I've updated the post to reflect this.

You're right, it says Hero edition on that link but in Steam it doesn't.
It is the hero edition, although I think there isn't much extra included with the hero edition besides a few bits of preorder content. Certainly no DLC from what I can see.
Is anyone still doing the monthly games draw? I have some duplicates...

I'm not sure about a monthly draw, but my weekly giveaway is still going strong every week.
