Anyone elses Comixology starting to resemble Steam piles of shame in terms of stuff bought vs actually used?

The tiles look nice in the library though.

Mine does since the DC £2.99 sale. At least that has put me off buying much since because it has set a new benchmark for what I am prepared to pay.

Try The Nam. Something a bit different. I've got the originals in the loft but just bought these at that price.

The link only means that Kindle comics appear on Comixology. I don't think it links the payment methods.

I always recommend The Vision if you haven't already got it.
Got all the Star Wars ones. Cracking deal for £4.72 (with the 15% code).

Thanks OP!

Damn right, probably the best use for 69p I can think of right now
Vader and Star Wars are great as is jwssica jones
Can anyone recommend any for a 10 year old?
Fantastic, for more comics than I'll ever be able to read

59p per collection - cannot go wrong, can you?
Thanks. Went for few.
Any free Marvel collections from the 70's. Would love to read a few originals from my childhood.
Nice one op. Do you login using your Amazon account, as website is asking me to add my date of birth for some reason.
Some real crackers in there. Cheers, Buzz – and Vashetti for pointing out the money-off code.
Thanks for the suggestions - will grab a few at these prices - bargain !
Cheers for this. Grabbed all the Star Wars ones and a few others.
I love saving money just means I buy more...then do not save...oh wait this is not good...But hey I have stuff.
I've just grabbed a load and used the code, so it's not finished yet

Will I read them... who cares!

Depends on sex but -

- Ghostbusters
- Jem
- Most Spiderman titles
- Some Avengers
- Scarlett Spider
- Iron Man (mostly)
- Captain America (generally)

All of these comics deal with family, honour, being a good person, doing the right thing and generally positive values.

For teens you have Gotham High. Avoid Starfire which came under massive criticism for it's depiction of the heroine. Avoid Wolverine, Punisher, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Deadpool as they target more adult themes like loss, revenge, vengeance, solace etc. I am generalising but you won't go far wrong.

Get your child into comics though; my first collection started around 11 and it is the best thing my parents ever bought me. Complex storylines, art, pacing, narrative, serialisiation. All good concepts.

I'm very selective these days
awww, in my excitement I forgot to use the discount code
Still, that's a lot of comics for very little money, thanks!
Can't recommend Tom King's Vision enough
Looks like my e-mail saying the offer would end at 11pm EST is just a standard message they put on every offer but they usually come with a clear end date. When it finishes it will finish at 11pm EST

Captain America (generally)

So preferably when he's not a Nazi? That said the Captain America issues before Secret Empire were actually pretty good.

'Vision', as others have mentioned. It's a self contained story so anyone can follow it.

I thought 'Secret Empire' was a really good read, I just didn't like the ending that much.

The slightly problem with this sale is that it doesn't include volume 1 for most series so it's a bit difficult to pick up on the story especially if you're not relatively familiar with the character or status quo for their bit of the Marvel universe.

'Thor: Worthy Origins' should be good as it includes 'Season One', a series of starter stories that Marvel did for a load of characters.

I've picked up 'Black Bolt' Vol 1, 'The Defenders' Vol 1 and 'Jean Grey' Vol 1 as I've heard good things about it.

Otherwise for on-going series I've enjoyed or just picked up volumes for:
* 'All New-Wolverine' Vol 4 and 5;
* 'Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows' Vol 2
* 'Avengers Unleashed' Vol 2;
* 'Doctor Strange' Vol 4 and 5;
* 'Ms. Marvel' Vol 8;
* 'Old Man Logan' Vol 5 and 6;
* 'Power Man and Iron Fist' Vol 3;
* 'She-Hulk' Vol 2;
* 'Spider-Man: Miles Morales' Vol 3.

If they had Vol 1 of 'Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur' then I'd definitely recommend that series from this sale.

Otherwise most modern series are aimed at teens these days.
Great deal, I picked up Vision, Darth Vader, Darth Maul and Jessica Jones .
Meh, digital... good deal for those who want to download comics, so still voted hot. Not for me though.
