Hunter Original Adjustable Wellies £49.99 (Lots of sizes and style) in TK Maxx

Hunter Original adjustable Wellington boots in various colours and sizes for £49.99. these are the ones with the slit and buckle that allow for a wider fit. They retail at £85 minimum in most stores so a bargain in my opinion!

I noticed they had the normal Original ones also at £49.99 (RRP ~£70?), the short version at £39.99, all in both matte or gloss variants. Had lots in the Leeds store, and also I know the Sheffield store has them in too.

Cue the usual grumbles about how they're made in China therefore must be terrible quality... VOTE ON THE DEAL, NOT THE PRODUCT PLEASE!

If you can afford to shell out £49.99 on wellies, I'm not sure you have much need for a deals site.

Theres no therefore about it they are cheap crap rubbish, My wifes bought Hunters for years the last two pairs lasted a few months then the sole split and started leaking on both pairs.
So here we go.
Cheap crap rubbish made in China and other third world countrys,Nothing like the quality from years ago.£10 wellies with very expensive badges stuck on them.

Sad but true.
sadly they are all right... such a shame...
Yeah to be fair a friend of mine has these and they are just standard wellies with a printed logo on the front. No craftsmanship, stitched logo etc.....literally nothing to justify the extra cost over a standard wellie. Bit of a rip if you ask me but not voting either way.

Actually, £50 for a good pair of walking Wellies is a pretty good price. You'll be lucky to get a pair much cheaper. Please don't confuse walking wellies with the £10 pairs you get at B&Q, which will split within a couple of weeks if used for anything other than a spot of occasional gardening.

That said, the current range of Hunters are very poor quality and therefore hugely overpriced.
Modern Hunters suck balls so ner
Bought my Hunters Three years ago ,still going strong. No probs at all and paid close to £100 as they where festival ones. don't know if mine are classified as modern or not.
They also had these at bristol cribbs an kids ones for £19.99 I buy mine in the next sale- £18 for a size 5 u can't go wrong x
My wife has had her hunter wellies for four years, every week use and as good as new. Well worth it
The coating on my Hunters (bought last year) started peeling within a couple of wears. I'd never buy them again.
Cold from me not worth £20 quid

Slightly off topic, but calling china a third world country is both politically incorrect, and far from correct!

I hope you don't subject your poor wife to the same amount of rage as you do on HUKD forums. Would have thought you'd given her your rant after she'd bought the first pair of cheap crap rubbish Hunters made in the "third world", rather than let her buy a second pair.
