thanks - I managed to get one as well. It was for the first 60 orders. Will have a happy son now at christmas:)

Yep, was a good price, congrats to those who got one, enjoy.

Couldnt get rid off the rip-off delivery charge. Price now is £379 and then drops to £319 with the discount code.

this same model was being sold earlier in the year with Wifi and a DVD writer for the same price
I bought the 15.4" upgrade and 14.1" for my sister

you didn't get the Windows CD and it was 256mb memory

I noticed as I was ordering it there was no free upgrade to Vista available as is the norm lately from Dell...

Eee, I'm an ugrateful so-and-so

People who didnt get it dont seem to think much of it

I'm very happy with a base laptop for just over £250.

I bought several of these for my friends earlier in the year, but they included DVDRW drive and had a special offer of free double ram for £299.

They are all very happy with them, Dell called up near the end of the 90 day warranty period and offered next business day warranty for £52 each, so bargain all round.

Nice price for a base laptop.

mine does everything I need, so that's 2 of us, although I paid slightly more for the upgraded screen
