+1

Yeah I bought one last time round, well in fact I bought two as there was a £40 off voucher you could use too. Sold one to a mate and the other is hooked up to my PC, brilliant TV for the price. If you've got one of the NVidia 3D Vision gfx cards in your PC this looks awesome and you don't need the special expensive Nvidia glasses, those gfx cards are now 3D compatible with these TVs. All you need is the IR transmitter to prove that you've previously bought a pair of the NVidia glasses (although I wouldn't be surprised if there's some kind of workaround for this now) and use the cheap glasses that come with the TV. These are the same glasses you use in the cinema. Like I say it looks great as a PC monitor but I can't fault it as a TV either, the freeview is good and the USB port emits enough power to act as a PSU for a raspberry pi or android TV box (tested on MK802 MkII).

I'd personally recommend staying away from this tv set. I bought one last time around about 6 weeks back purely because i was persuaded by some of the good reviews on here and on the sainsburys website. I was on a small budget, and this fitted the bill perfectly. It was delivered very quickly, and within 5 mins i had the tv out and ready to be set up, only the bottom pedestal stand for the thing took an age to get on and even then it wasnt sturdy, you could actually wobble the tv on the stand unless you screwed through the thread, filing off some plastic on the way.

I was willing to comprimise on some of the aspects of the tv, seeing as it was so cheap. When i set it up and turned it on i was suprised how good the picture actually was, through my computer that is. I noticed some of the reviews mentioning light bleeding in all 4 corners of the screen so i tested this out by putting a black background on, and oh my goodness the light bleed was terrible. The bleed was all 4 corners, and it was so bad they almost met in the middle of the screen! Granted, if you are playing a game or watching a film (without many dark scenes) then you wont notice it that much, but it will annoy the hell out of you as soon as a black background crops up. I sent mine back for a refund because i couldnt cope with seeing the light bleed anymore. If it wasnt for that i would of kept the tv because the sound and picture quality was actually pretty good.

Maybe im just one of the unlucky ones with very bad light bleed, but im going to think twice from now on about buying brands that i arent too familiar with. Well done to those people that managed to get one without light bleed, because it is definatley worth 200 notes then!

No freeview hd tuner built in

keep checking, these came back in stock quite quickly the last time. and yeah the names not the best but the picture quality is good.

I was only asking because i dont know anyone that has it, even my kids have a tivo box in the bedroom.

I had the same bleed problem - took it back and the replacement doesn't have this issue. Fantastic tv for the money, would recommend!

The wobbley thing is common my expensive Sony Bravia 40inch is the exact same in the manuel it actually reccomends you tie it down or screw it down.

Mine has both Freeview and hardly any light bleed. Fantastic TV for the price.

I'd guess around 60% of the population are very happy getting their telly through an ariel without having to pay extra for 100s of channels they don't need, or have the time to watch. Just a guess like.....

Just a word of warning. I ordered one of these and it arrived today. The box was battered and the packing inside was damaged.

When I took the TV out if the box it had fingerprints and marks all over the screen. It is obvious that the TV I was sent had been returned already. It seems Sainsburys are now sending out returned stock to customers. Mine will be going back and I am very disappointed that Sainsburys are sending out "used" stock to customers expecting a new TV.

It certainly looks like Sainsburys idea of a product coming back "in stock" is because customers have sent items back.

mine was arrived quickly ,attached to desktop enjoying 3d bluray .

Just phoned Sainsburys and returned item. They have no more in stock so I have missed out this time. Just disappointed that they sent the telly out in the first palce in the state it was in. Oh well.

received mine today, just opened it up and set up. all nice and clean and ready to enjoy 3d entertainment........when it won't turn on. checked the fuse, checked the set up, even checked the power button. going back.

Well after waiting a week for my item I'd still not got it, I called sainsburys to ask for it to be tracked.... I was told it was attempted on the 5th. Jokingly i got my partner to look in the back garden and the tv was in the garden where is had been since the 5th!!! No note was posted and because we dont use the back garden in the winter we didnt know it was outside!!

Guess who delivered it!?
