First deal etc , though this was posted a few months ago on here..
I bought one of these over the summer when it was £100. Been using it daily for my 6 mile round commute. Found it ok to be honest, not too heavy, and quite speedy, with thinnish tyres. Good to knacker over the wet winter months to save my decent other bike!
Wouldn't recommend for a novice as had to make some adjustments when putting it together but not a bad bike as a spare.
Don't forget TCB for 4% off.

I mean there is also a ladies version of this bike! - tesco.com/dir…356

Pay cheap pay twice. **** poor parts all over the bike that will fall apart from regular use.

BSO (bicycle shaped object).

But good for a short distance commuter. No fear of it gettin' knicked or rusted etc. Cheap enough to bin every 6 months (and save you a ton of cash on petrol/car insurance.

Anything that gets people riding, and out of their prams is Hot.

Agree with your sentiments but this one is better than a lot of "BSOs". The wheels, tyres, frame, brakes, gears I have found to be fairly acceptable quality. Would say weak points are the stem, non cartridge BB, grip shifters (pain to use in the wet) and chainset.
Weighs under 14kg too which certainly doesn't make it a tank.
I must have done about 750 miles on mine, some longish 20-30mile rides too and found it to be fairly comfortable 1 puncture so far but no others problems to speak of other than having to adjust the rear derailleur sometimes.
