i would recommend a decent set of axle stands before you go under the car if using that jack !

never seen a small trolley jack that has a bend in the handle before or one quite so long.

You never go under a vehicle relying on the jack(any jack) alone.

This doesn't really lift far enough. You'll need it on full extension to get the wheel off on a lot of cars and with using the upper part of the jack it has to roll right under the car to get the lift.

The halfords 4x4 jack is much better with the free axle stands. Once that offer is finished the jack alone is usually £25 - £35 depending on the months offer.

A pass from me

I wouldn't get under a car on any jack. All that rests between you and the car dropping onto you is a hydraulic seal. You've even got to be careful with ramps these days, was a guy taking a pair back to the local motorfactors telling them they collapsed underneath his VW Polo. Not the lightest of cars for the size, but certainly not over the stated limits for the ramps.

Thats why you put the wheels you take off under the chassis....
