Just browsing through Argos and came across this deal.
I have the Hygena 42" T.V stand and Hygena table which are both really well made and look good and I thought this was a really good deal.

Cannot pick up from store.

It is so cheap because it prehistoric, I wouldnt buy this. If you look at the photos of it you can see a VHS player in the stand. I would be embrassed to have this in my house. Rather spend abit more and have something modern. Sorry Cold.

I was going to post the same thing.

It's for reasons like that things such as "was £xx" or "RRP £xx" should be banned from titles. It's very misleading because most of the time those figures are made up.

HR19 - Thanks for amending post

Have some heat, and nice bargain find.

As for "prehistoric" comment - so not to your taste, OK, but surely not worth voting cold ?

To me, if wide enough for a VCR, then wide enough for my other items, too, like Sky HD+ box.

Argos site overloaded else I would be buying not posting.

It doesn't look like a VHS player in the picture actually, looks like a DVD player. Albeit an older model...

Its £49.99 there...but £39.99 here argos.co.uk/sta…htm?CMPID=GS001&_$ja=tsid:11527|cc:|prd:6142759|cat:home+and+furniture+%2F+living+room+%2F+living+room+furniture+%2F+entertainment+cabinets+and+units+%2F

Great find. Hot

I don't understand how it can be prehistoric because it shows a VCR in the picture, if it is actually a VCR. If it had a blu-ray player in the picture would you buy one?

Someone thinks it's a buy-one-cabinet-get-one-VHS-player kinda deal. X)

Great rpice for one of these. Hot.

I dont know from what planet you have to be in order to be emberassed having a TV stand advertised with a picture that has a VCR on it.... but this might not be this one....

At least if it was build some time ago it has a nice build quiality, not like these modern pieces of furnitures

My eyes are bleeding it's so ugly!

Looks to me like a Toshiba vhs/dvd combo, it does have a HDMI port though if that help someone...hahahahahaha

Only enough space for 2 things so not good for many people but nice enough if you don't have many boxes under you tv

It is indeed. "Toshiba DVD/Video Cassette Recorder" with HDMI....upscaling..pah.

Cold...oh wait..we're judging the cabinet and not the old equipment that is not included and you are not compelled to put inside your cabinet. (Though put inside your cabinet what you will )

Hot OP!

Has anybody got a real picture of the item, aka working in real life conditions?

I have this. It is not pre-historic as somebody described, it is black glass furniture which is as far as i am aware, still in fashion.

However, it will only just fit a sky receiver on top or bottom shelf. It won't fit my DVD player in which is a Toshiba with USB port. A Wii box has to be lay down and the cupboards either side won't fit many dvds/games in ... i had to buy a seperate stand for ours.
Also it picks up dust and hairs like billio, as does all this furniture.

I paid a discounted price, but wish i could have found it at that price with all that i have said above.
