Shame it doesnt come in King Size for a similar level of discount.

Thats a good price... Well spotted.

Heads up: We bought an Argos bed very similar to this model. Very poor product.
The slats rest on a strip of wood(?) which is fixed to the side, head and foot with staples ( that's right folks, staples ) and several small spots of glue. We had to repair our bed three times. Each time we have rung Argos and got a partial refund, altogether £110.00.
We also bought a wardrobe which when assembled was of poor quality, two inch gap between the doors. I had to use several large screws to stabilize it because the thing was wobbling about , again Argos refunded £60.00. Mind you the bed and the wardrobe look good when assembled as long as you stand a fair distance from them!
NB: I am not slagging off Argos, I personally think they're a good company, it's just a few products as above that give cause for concern.

I agree
Can't fault Argos on 99% of their items or the Customer Services...but their non-branded beds are absolutely abysmal.

OOS:(

Oos for me too

I agree with 2nd comment. Bought one from homebase got delivered in argos Van and on box it had argos labels. Delivery guy said they are same company.
I bought king side for around £280 they had one looked exactly same but 10kg light and @ £249. I bought expensive one thinking it will be better but I was wrong. During fix the metal bolts became lose and I couldn't tight so used few different glues. And had it for 2 months only and it already squeaking. Hate this bed

Oh and the original price for the bed was near £450 or more. Xmas times

Heat. I bought the cheapest one of these I could find at the time it was 119£. Looks just like the one I had and I aint had no problems with the quality... It's all about the mattress... Don't Scrimp on that...

Rubbish beds, have one and they are very badly made. Look good, but if you want to use it as storage the gas lift pistons are rubbish ours broke after a couple of uses, came down on top of my head nearly splitting my head open. The slats are very thin.

Bought 2x doubles for this price just before Xmas, didn't bother putting the base on to use it for storage. Both beds for my teenage kids and they are perfectly fine even when they are bloody wrestling on them.
Don't know why the negative post both are perfect for the job if you buy a half decent mattress to protect the slats.

I have a "decent" memory foam mattress and like i said ok to look at, but rubbish for storage, it was the extra storage i bought it for in the first place. Most people would be a bit miffed if they had taken a very heavy blow to the top of their head because of a faulty product.

Small double!!! What does that mean?

can someone remind me about the top class "foam". I had once seen in HUKD about the quality and comfort .. just can't get the name of the bed form.. oO

Do not buy they are cheap quality

A bed is something you buy once in a while and sleep on for a lot of your life buy something decent!

I have been making ikea furniture for a while now and I made this argos bed exactly how it is meant to be and my mate who bought it says it's creaked from day one

4ft
Double is 4ft 6'

130cm width ! I would class that as a large single , no way you could class that as a double .

I agree with the poor quality comments. I bought a single one from Homebase (though Homebase and Argos are one and the same) and it was delivered just three weeks ago. The slats are ridiculous and it is extremely creaky and has been since day one! Not what I expected to be honest, far too noisy for an adult but will suffice for my 3yr old. Will never buy an own-brand bed from Argos/Homebase again though

We looked at these over Christmas and went for the Ikea malm storage bed, fantastic quality...would highly recommend.

I take it your 25 stone then if you class a small double as a single bed!

Good price. I've got this exact bed, got it in may last year. I remember reading in the reviews that it was hard to out together esp on your own.. I managed to do it but it did take 3 hours by myself. Really nice to have under bed storage too.

Currently out of stock. Every time Argos has a good deal like this one, it's out of stock.
Good find, though.
Thanks for posting.

A few nights of passion and this bed wouldnt last long, don't forget fifty shades is out this weekend lol

Nice
