Just notified by Camel that the Cloud II/2 headset has reached its lowest price.

I've owned mine for 2 months and as per the reviews you'll find online these things are unbelievably good.

-Long nylon braided cable.
-Lightweight.
-Supremely comfortable.
-USB Soundcard included.
-Best pseudo 7.1 surround I've heard (great for CS:GO etc).
-Great isolation, two sets of cups.
-Excellent microphone quality, YouTube bids covering this.
-Removable Mic for use with normal 3.5MM jack.
-Metal chassis construction.

Even at RRP I couldn't really pick a fault, so £59.99 is great value if you're looking for a headset.

3M total.

1M from headphone to jack which plugs in to USB soundcard. 2M from soundcard to USB for plugging in to device.

Thanks! I was thinking about getting the previous model, but at only £5 dearer for these, it's a much better deal!

Thanks, have been waiting for these!

Am I right in thinking these are only 7.1 for PC/PS4 not for Xbox one?

Yes, due to the USB element.

But don't be put off, it's simulated after all. The soundstage is nice and wide and positioning is also excellent by default.

Buy and return them perhaps?

I purchased the HyperX cloud 1 earlier and now these are on sale. Typical

I dont know about ps4, but yes, for them to work in 7.1 with XBOne you would need a supported mix amp, which aren't cheap.

which type of adaptor do you need for the xb1

Other than the seemingly impressive build quality then, these wouldn't be any different to any other stereo sound headset available for Xbox one right?

A Mixamp, most are about £90-£100 so won't be buying that any time soon

You can just use them in stereo 2.0 on their own. For 7.1 *I only* know of the Astro mixamp Pro and Turtle beaches

No where near the cheapest price. These have been down to £40!

I had a set of Turtle Beach XO4 previously. Sound is significantly better, as is comfort, isolation and big leap in build quality. Mic also much better.

Screw it, I'll take the chance. I've had countless headsets for Xbox one but always seem to find a fault (usually the mic is terrible) hopefully these will be decent enough

do you still need a stereo adaptor for the XB1?? not arsed about 7.1

Does anyone know if this headset will work with the steam link with virtualhere installed?

It will work fine with the new type controller with 3.5mm jack. Old type Will need stereo adapter.

Was going to buy these last week but then opted for the Logitech G633

Thank you..

Similarly, I once had a dog called chip, but I dont think I'll see those days any more.

I'll just ignore the normal stupid sarcasm found on here...

Ah, super! They're great value for pretty unrivalled quality, Even the packaging us beautiful.

There's a bag in the bottom part of the box, in case like me you nearly bin it!

Enjoy!
