Can't beat this 30 hour battery life.
Made for for PC. No doubt people get put off when it just says PS4, with the vast majority not bothering to visit the deal page or vote. Heat added.

Think I prefer the headsets that plug into the controller.
Just wondering would these also work as wireless headset for a phone with no headphone jack? Thanks

I bought the hyperx cloud silver the other day from Argos, using code hyperx30 for£39, and they're brilliant!

No course not. Be careful who you listen to.

Sorry about that, I stand corrected. Can you explain why not?

Nowhere to plug in the receiver.
I guess I just assumed it would connect to the device rather than needing a dongle receiver to pair. Apologies.
I wonder how this compares to my Cloud II? Looking to go wireless.
Ah awesome, I've been on the look out for this and this price is too good!

No worries, I wasn't going to watch her part with her money.

Great headset, with decent range. Managed to get it working about 15m and 2 walls away from the receiver.
I did find that it got a little uncomfortable on the surrounding ear area as headset felt tight. However, I do have a very wide head (thick skull), so shouldn't be an issue with most people.

Have compared this to a Logitech G533 and this one feels a touch heavier, but also sturdier. Had to stick with the G533s as they suit my wide head better. If that wasn't an issue, would've chosen this hands down.

Also, make sure to get the "Ngenuity" software if you want to be able to see battery percentage.

The Hyper X Cloud Alphas are the comfiest headphones I've ever owned, even using them all day they don't get uncomfortable, recommend this brand based on that alone.

I have the 450 Stealth uk.turtlebeach.com/pro…set

The separation between chat and gameplay audio just plain doesn't work on them... How are they on the HyperX Cloud? Thanks in advance anyone who can comment!
Great deal, but think I will go for the £77 Dolby 7.1 wired ones.

If you're talking about game volume being too high to hear voice chat, can you not using the Windows mixer to adjust the game's volume accordingly? This has worked on all headsets I've used (Logitechs, Steel Series and HyperX/QPad).

If you're talking about an auto volume reduction/muting of games when voice chat is actaivated, I don't think these or any of the other HyperX Clouds have that feature.

If I have missed the point completely, I apologise!

Just checking, but will you be using these for gaming on PC? If so, general consensus is that 7.1 features on headsets ruin positional sounds and I've found add an odd, echo-ey effect to everything when I have that feature on.

No you haven't .

I can do that, but on my 450, there is a dedicated volume rocker, just for voice chat - supposedly to adjust the level of chat with your teammates without leaving the game. This doesn't work at all for me, just wondering if there is such a thing on the HyperX, and if there is, does it work?

Had a few headsets myself and most sound echoey with simulated 7.1. Arctis pro doesn't have this issue they sound great with either 7.1 or stereo.

Voted hot good headset for the price.
