These are probably the best sub £100 gaming headset on the market.

HyperX Cloud II features a redesigned USB sound card audio control box that amplifies audio and voice for an optimal Hi-Fi gaming experience, so you can hear what you’ve been missing. Open up a world of detail that other gamers will never know, the rustle of a camper’s boot, the scuttle in a distant vent. Its independent audio and microphone volume control lets you adjust not only sound volume but also mic volume and easily toggle Surround Sound 7.1 or the mic sound on and off.

This headset generates virtual 7.1 surround sound* with distance and depth to enhance your gaming, movie or music experience. Pinpoint your opponents’ location in the game and strike before they see you coming. It’s hardware driven and plug and play, with no driver needed.

You will need to put the voucher code GAMINGHEADSET30 on checkout to get this price.

Also available in red but they would be £59.49 after the code.

I presume it's online only due to the code but click and collect is a possibility.

Yeah, very good price. I can't give you advise on the Alphas or these. I would recommend you look for experts reviews to help you choose.

Not a fan of the red colour, and I'll only be using them on the Xbox so won't make full use of the features! Rather save the £18

''I have also got the with the saving off the 18 quid and I also don't like the bright red . Am going to put the into buying the Dolby atmos app on Xbox one x

This headset or the Astro A10 ? Which is best for £55 ? For use on Xbox One

I got them in red version and they are the best headphones I have ever bought. Highly recommend!

7.1 feature is a unnecessary gimmick that does not give true 7.1 - only a strange echo, but the sound quality on its own on these is excellent!

Would these work with the ps4 and are they wireless or wired?

hyper x get on that deal

Not a bad deal but Currys / PC World tend to be pretty crafty when it comes to discount code promotions and the pricing shown before discount. They raise the prices so you aren't getting as good a deal as you may think. I remember these dropping to £35-40 earlier in the year.

I can't say I've seen these below the 49.99 Smyth Toys had them, but then I've only been watching them since around October.

It is very obvious why Currys do it this way though, like you said. I assume it also keeps their "high price" they can quote when they do drop it.

Ah, nice. Wasn't doubting. Just hadn't seen anything close to that price since I've been watching them.

It's nice to know what they could drop down to for us long term save for later basket (case) collectors.

It says the coupon isn't valid?

EDIT: Gunmetal are out of stock, you can only get the red ones which are more expensive.

WELL THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING! sneaky gits! I will definitely hold out for a better deal then considering these were on sale from £44 down to £35!!! Now they are £75 (or £85 for red ones) with 30% off! Even £39 @ SMyths is a better deal!

Just have to find that Delorean!!!!

Thanks, I grabbed a pair.

I have the original X Clouds and use them on Xbox and they are quality. Paid 30 odd quid from Flubit (remember when flubit was a thing???) and they've been excellent! Very comfy for long gaming sessions and handy that mic detaches for other uses. Good sound. Can't argue for the money. I prefer these to similar priced Turtle Beach headsets.

I reserved a set of these but in red for £36 from Currys a few months ago, but had only just bought new headphones, do never bothered to go and get them, I'm still kicking myself now...

Do they allow you to control volume of the voice and game via the headset on Xbox? Or is that only when plugged in with USB?
