Hi all,

I've generally seen good things about this headset and I believe this is the joint lowest it has been, with the potential 10% Cashback for Barclays customers knocking just under £5 off. I'm not sure on the finer details of which customers are entitled, I believe it is current account holders but don't quote me on that.

Anyway, I hope this is a good deal. Feel free to tell me otherwise

If you log in to Barclays Online Banking, go to the Rewards tab and there should be a section for Cashback with a list of websites that you can receive cashback from. There are plenty of retailers to choose from but in this case you simply select Argos from the list and follow the steps on-screen. It will then open the Argos website through the Barclays website. Once you're there, find what you want and buy it (without changing tab / closing and re-opening) and Barclays will claim back the money for you. You should get an e-mail to confirm the cashback, not sure how long it takes however.

I think that's how it works anyway! Either that or I followed the instructions completely wrong

Have one of these, and really like. A bit picky about headsets, sent back few others because those ones got uncomfortable after like an hour of use.

Best headset I've ever used. Heat

Is that true, there's no 7.1 on Xbox1 due to USB connection? Apparently only PS4 can give 7.1 with these headsets.

Yeah,if you want 7.1 on Xbox one you will need to buy a headset with a digital audio connector (S/PDIF I believe but check) like Astro makes, Microsoft said they would add 7.1 surround sound USB support but I believe they only did for the high end and expensive Turtle beaches. I've not kept up to be fair and knowledge is a little stale, but you won't find a 7.1 headset for the Xbox one in this price range.

Great price, but out of stock in Leicester.

Keep checking. An area near me just got some stock so you may be lucky.

Amazon jacked the price back up again otherwise I was tempted to order it with them.

Use code A45PFW8K to get it down to 44.99

its not a bad headset but glad I only paid £32 for it back a few months back. The sounds pretty decent and the mic is very bendy. I did have some odd issues with discord but it was few and far between. I just upgrades to a razer man o war wireless as the wire did start to get in my way a little
