I love my Creative HS800 Fatal1ty headset but according to friends my mic is souning really distorted & after all sorts of adjustments it looks like it time to move on and buy a new set.

I've got a few headsets on Camel Price watch & this Hyper X set has just dropped to its Best Price from Amazon. It has only been out for a few months so there's not too many (reliable) reviews about but the fact that its a good all rounder for connections is making it an attractive set to me.

item blurb:

"HyperX Cloud Stinger is the ideal headset for gamers looking for lightweight comfort, superior sound quality and added convenience.
At just 275 grams, it’s comfortable on your neck and its ear cups rotate in a 90-degree angle for a better fit. Its 50mm directional drivers position sound directly into the ear for audio precision and gaming-grade sound quality.
For ultimate comfort in prolonged gaming sessions, it features high-quality HyperX signature memory foam. Its adjustable steel slider, intuitive volume control on the headset ear cup and swivel-to-mute noise-cancellation microphone make it easy to use, and multi-platform compatibility lets you enjoy the same comfort and enhanced audio experience on PCs or consoles."

Reviews & price look good enough to prompt me to buy for our 9yr old. Another one checked off his Xmas list, nice find!
I decided to buy a set after watching a few reviews. This Headset seems ideal for my needs, mostly social chat while gaming.
Picked these up from Argos today, same price
£45.99. Anyone recommend some 7.1 pc headset
45.99 on amazon and argos
The logitechs g430s should still be 32£ I use them myself and have not had any problems since buying last year.

Cloud 2s have 7.1
Don't rate these headphones at all! You can't control the game chat/voice chat individually so it just merges into one, not really being able to hear either
