Are they any good?

Are they any good?

One of the best USB mics out there. That said and XLR mic will always be the way to go if you're serious about YouTube or Twitch but for the vast majority it's pretty good quality.
Heat from me,touch to mute is nice feature also
Fantastic quality on this microphone, hard to beat at this price. I've just picked one up after using a blue snowball for the last few years.

This guy does a great comparison (4th mic in the test) and you can just tell it is far superior to the other mics which cost more!
Nice, thank you! Picked up a 'like new' one for £67 as it had 20% off.
My boy likes singing is this any good for singing and editing etc?
If you can afford it I'd go for the Rode-NT. Listening through studio speakers it has much more depth than any of those featured above.

That said I think the Blue Yeti (with a pop filter) sounds a little better than this mic (again listening through high quality studio speakers). You can get that at Amazon Warehouse with 20% off also.

Sadly the Rode-NT isn't on offer.

As sound as that advice is (and I've upgraded to an NT1 myself), nothing beats improving the acoustics of the recording environment first. Whether that's using stuff like towels and pillows to higher-end acoustic panels on the wall.

A little bit of thought can go a LONG way in voice over capture.
Rode NT USB now on the 20% offer...just got one for £84.

Yeh pillows in front of the mic is a very good idea.
