Yeah you're right, diminishing returns on speed as latency goes up so for 54 quid I'm happy, build has worked out just the right time for me with the warehouse deals, MSI Z390 Tomohawk 72 quid, i5 9600k 143, RAM 54 and a Corsair RMX750x for 50 quid, 319quid for my upgrade from my old 4790k, sweet

Got a 1080 myself Zotac FE around 18months ago for 200, nearly ripped the arm off lol.
