Can anyone tell me if this is any good?

no

he get what you pay for like most things
This is very good tablet for this price
Sounds decent but main worry is that it is a bodged Android 4.

Newer is not better if it hardly works.
and will duty and vat need to be added when you get it?
Not used focalprice before. Any surcharge on £ > $, any Import duty to pay?
i would guess due to value i'll guesstimate you'll get a nice 20quid charge from royal mail.

HE gets what I pay for? What do I get? Is that why it's not a good deal? You don't give any other reasons
Seems like a really good product, does it have an internal sim slot or is the £G connection via a dongle?

yes if it gets stopped, import tax + vat +handling charge
Good price but as others say you might need to pay VAT+import tax+handling which can be an extra of £30-40 so not sure how attractive it can be.
No warranty. possible customs & VAT charge, Post office fee of around £13 ? for collecting the VAT and duty.
But then again, you may get one that works and gets delivered without Duty, VAT etc.
Focal is ok for items upto a tenner, but over that beware

LOL! Classic.
If this really did cost £69 without all the other tax charges then its a cracking deal.

Would like to know if its 3g ready - as in has sim slot, or a badly worded share over wifi,. I'm guessing the later due to cost, but would like to be surprised.

After they tried to scam me and sent me something that was disguised as another product and denied it until i sent them pics and proof and even then it took 4 more emails for them to stop offering me credit/coupons for other websites and actually give me a refund not to mention there packaging was a joke and it took them nearly two months, 40 days longer then they said it would take to deliver it, i would not buy anything electronic or component related from them or expensive (above a tenner).
seems pretty cool but i value a good dev community over most things with regard to tablets. the last thing you want is to have a tablet that gets left behind just because you jumped in too quickly.

i have an archos 70it that is pretty great but dev work is moving slowly now and it makes me want a more actively supported device.
Looks very good for the price - but I'm very weary when ordering things like this from China.

If anything goes wrong it's either dead, or you have to pay for it to be shipped back over to China (and be without it for a month at the very least). I'd personally risk it on £30 MP4 players etc. but definitely not for an as-yet unproven £70 tablet.
I'm pretty sure that the 3G is via a dongle, the description uses "USB Dongle" next to every mention of 3G. I'd bet this isn't integrated.
Has to be voted cold for the uncertainty of price and support. I've seen too many disappoints/rows etc at our PO delivery office as the staff explain why the deal is unexpectantly costing.

Buying really cheap DealXtreme stuff from the far east is fine, but for more than £20 I wouldn't trust it. I note that DealXtreme and others are now establishing EU bases to eliminate these issues.
..surely you're going to have to pay 20% duty and a handling charge as well on top of this? doesnt mnake it quite as cheap

Seems like that may be the case. Doesn't seem to have a sim slot any ways. Hmm, how does that work exactly?
Will edit the thread title as it's a bit misleading.

Its just a 3G usb dongle that the device has driver support for. you stick your SIM in the dongle and the dongle in the tablet. there's a big risk of snapping it off (compared to integrated) so its not ideal!
Cold
Tempted, but I know it would be a waste! Must resist!

Looks like there has been a firmware update released today: hyundai-digital.cn/dow…d=7 (Its the A7 model btw)

This is also from their website, you can see how it compares (only the top bit, ignore the rest)

lol.. this will be crap.. you've been warned..
I just brought 2 of the Huawei S7 Slim Android Tablet for £113 (including P&P) for me and the wife.

Looking at this tablet it seems OK especially for the price so some heat added.

Even compared to some of the other tablet deals posted of late I dont think the S7 Slim was a bad choice. Although being the bargain hunter I am I could always return them???

The S7 slim has better specs and is Sim ready.

Any Useful opinion or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
I can't imagine this will be any good for this price... any reviews?

I think this is virtually the same as the Eken T01 posted earlier today from Futeko, which had the advatage of UK supplier, but has now expired. I think the processor is the same as the Allwinner A10 (Cortex A8 + Mali 400).

I made some searches on the internet and I don't think this is a genuine Hyundai product. Hyundai does not seem to make these tablets. The link below is from an official Hyundai technology website and it shows only one model of tablet.

hyundaitechnologies.com/en/…tml

Can anyone clarify or prove that this product is genuinely from Hyundai??
I'm not sure whether to buy this or an iPad 3? I mean, the difference is marginal and iPad 3 does have reliability issues and that dreadded resistive screen.
Hyundai
bought hyundia tv before ,nice plasma .broke after 3 months .
couldnt get hold of hyundia for repair.
ended up in bin, hundreds down the drain........
In all fairness at £70 this is a great price for something basic. If it had 1GB of RAM it would run much much better but is the ram upgradeable? I've always wondered if it's possible to remove the RAM and upgrade it yourself.

I think you have to factor in 20% import and handling charges and just count yourself lucky if you don't get them.

I have a HTC desire HD and doesn't look much slower on the comparison chart so for that reason I'm staying away for now. Might pick up a kindle instead!

I bought a Hyundai too and it still works. Does around 32mpg round town.
Camera? Microphone?
How fast does it go?
IPAD KILLER!
Good price if no import duty and, more importantly, if it arrives. Have been waiting for a pair of headphones from Focal since the 1st of Feb - CS keep asking me to wait ten more days.
