What's wrong with keeping the Corsa?

£6835 from Drive the Deal so cold i'm afraid!

'Wouldn't be seen dead in a skoda' But would be seen in a Hyundai! Women are strange!

I've been driving an I10 for the last 2 years, nice car, good fuel consuption. Cheap road tax.
It doesn't have a big boot, but the back seats can be dropped down to give you alot more room if required.
The only issue we have ever had is with putting the car into reverse, as sometime we'd have to put the car into 1st and move forward slightly before it would go into reverse. The garage loosened the clutch cable and this helped, but it still has this problem sometimes. This may be specific to the car I have rather than to the I10 as a whole though.

The I10 won the Car Buyer Car of the Year 2011.

And I believe the solid colour choice is currently either Red or White..

Note - currently a new Hyundi I10 comes with:-
5 Year unlimited warranty
5 year Roadside Assistance
5 years of Annual Health Checks.
Its also worth considering the Hyundi 5 year service plan, it cost you a small amount each year and covers your yearly service thats required as part of the warranty agreement (Ita also works out cheaper over the plan than paying for each service).

Add to this its worth picking up the Call Hyundi First leaflet. Theft or accident, call them first and they contact your insurer to sort the claim on your behalf. read the leaflet!

What is solid paint? Seen this elsewhere...

I'd rather been seen in a Skoda than a Hyundai!

Have a look at the Picanto, longer warranty, nicer looking.

Get a second hand classic that will appreciate in value with individuality and style thrown in, like a Lada Riva.

Generally it's anything that is non-metallic/mica which the company cannot charge a premium for. In Hyundai's case it means a saving of £425. But non-metallic cars can be harder to sell secondhand.

Solid Paint- its just the colour specified, not metallic.

ie a red car with nothing extra on the colour, just plain bright red in the case of the Hyundi.

Sorry not the best of descriptions.

What's wrong with keeping the Corsa?

It's a Corsa.

I have the i20 which is made in the same factory as the i10 (India). Leave well alone.........utter garbage!

i have one of these.bought brand new last year. while they ok there is a known issue with engine raving up when changing gears. it is bloody annoying.
my dealer says it is characteristic of the car !!!oO
fuel consumption is not as good as advertised. i get disappointing 35-45 MPG. 2nd service apparently very expensive >£300.
remember there are 2 different engines 1.2 KAPPA being the newest one.
i will be changing mine soon to something better.

i10. ha.

A skoda is better made than this rubbish and will be worth more in 3 years time !!

She wants a change and I was thinking if we could keep the insurance costs down it would be worth looking for a free insurance deal. Corsa's are on offer again now with free insurance. One thing I've learnt is when you walk into the show room with cash in hand as a serious buyer you discover the 'Special Offer' youvre seen the advert for doent exist due to supply shortages or some other excuse. They try and sell you the more expensive model option which they just so happen have for quick delivery. Its clever marketing to get people into the showrooms if you ask me! West London Hyundai and Alan Day VW have actual cars I can buy for collection at the end of this week. Perhaps there are people on here that have no idea that the ideal car and price can't always be obtained easily. A bird in the Hand is worth two in the bush comes to mind, we will get there in the end.

Um, she would love a Mini Cooper but I went to our BMW dealership and the cheapest is about 14k!

Want a cheap to run funky car for her then get her an Aygo/107/C1 which ever one budget will allow. They depreciate less than any other city/small car on the road.

Thanks I'll check that out

Probably better off with a Skoda Citigo/VW Up for this money.

For the money would rather have this with fiat.co.uk/sho…152

Fiat 500 great car, unfortunately its the most vandalized car in London according to statistics recently released. Like to know if the insurance premium has increased because of this??

Says no road tax on the advert on tv !

Depends which engine you have.
