I'm not exactly sure but I think somerfield and coop are the same company now. Thanks for the heads up anyway it will help out the people that have somerfield nearby.

Yeah they are the same company but still trading under their own brands for the mean time.

It's a good price, but personally I don't like the taste. Much prefer utterly butterly.

I can

i can't believe this is a deal

Why post this as a hot deal? A hot deal is saving £100 not 20p.

what? Your saving 72p........if this isn't a good deal something is seriously wrong

good deal! but just wondering do people consume so much that they hunt for the discount, would you shop in tesco then drive to co-op for this? Dont mind the £1.30 every 2-3 months. I guess if the deal just happens to crop up when your running out in the shop you shop in great. Its especially the 2 for £2 etc that really get me wondering, you have to consume it all before BBF date.

Most folk would have to spend more than 72p on petrol to get the "deal".
Please post decent savings.

hotukdeals should then ban all deals that don't have a saving of x amount, say a fiver? Is that enough petrol money?

I have a co-op walking distance from my house but do my weekly shop in one of the bigger supermarkets, would not of noticed this deal if not for this post. Will definatly pop over there and pick some of this up at this price as it is a decent saving!
Thank you for the post

+1

Agreed. This stuff is the least pleasant of the blended spreads.

Noticed this today (I work there). We've just had a promotion changeover. Not a bad offer, considering how little you're paying for a good-butter-brand. As for the replies about it being a hot deal; consider the saving % and it's actually quite good.

yeah, I don't think saving £100 on £1,500,000 private yacht would be that special a deal to be honest. Whereas £100 on a £150 HiFi would be very good. I have a Co-Op spitting distance from my house, so if i want to walk there to get a discount tub of butter, that's not a problem. I don't drive at all, so petrol costs mean nothing to me. A good deal is a good deal, even if it is just 70p every now and again.

Exactly, its a good deal if you have a coop nearby that you use. If you see this deal and then think about that coop and then put them together.. why would people think I thought people were going to drive to the next town over for this?.. lol

I can believe that it's not butter, if you have to eat vegetable oil try country life or eat the real stuff but this stuff is butterly awfull:w00t:
