If you purchase any of the below new X570 motherboards you will get the relevant cooler for free. Pretty decent deal for some of these motherboards! Oh sweet a free AIO cooler if i buy an X570 motherboard... well Ryzen is cheaper than intel so why the heck not... ooo the godlike one sounds bang tidy, let me just see how much that is...

As good as the new Ryzen parts are they aren't really good enough to command a premium for their latest boards. Only with the 3900x. The best option for the majority of everyone else is a £120 X470 board and a Ryzen 3600. Killer punch per pound.

Right in the feels

You've already bought a board or you think it's a nice message from MSI? :P
Deal is good but MSI can be difficult when it comes to redeeming offers
Someone had to bring it up again
got my X570 Gaming Edge delivered today and installed in my pc. Nice little freebie will match my Cooler Master h500 case
The coolers are absolute trash and prone to leaking, but for free you can't complain.
Damn I just bought one from Amazon. Cancelling now...
Boards are way to expensive regardless of BS excuses pci4 is proven to be pointless chipset power is strange aswell, also pci gen 4 parts (m2 & gpu) are back compat on previous boards, no need for these prices.
it'll cost AMD money and good PR cause its these boards that are the let down of this launch.

It's the reason i'm not upgrading.

These water coolers are worse than high-end air coolers and are prone to leakage. Also motherboards are very expensive even considering the price of coolers.

Prone to leaking, rubbish. Maybe isolated cases like with ANY product. They wouldnt be sold otherwise

Yep, insane. But the free cooler makes it a totally solid buy!
Nice, could flog this for £50 right?

Hi, where is the £150 board? Can only see £220 up?

Sorry, I subtracted the cost of the CPU Cooler from the Mobo to give the "true cost", but you're still paying the full price for the mobo.

The boards are still new, and a big departure from previous with AMD which is why they have issues and prices are high. Give it a few months and they'll settle in, far too early to call it now.

Personally I blame Brexit. I specifically said that a vote to leave would result in MSI raising motherboard prices

Unfortunately 52% always brought Asus anyway

There is one board limited to a run of 999 units too! ASRock X570 Aqua.

I argue there's no point in buying any of the £200+ boards unless you've already got an LN2 pot ready to go.

I like the MSI godlike but there’s a cheaper version it’s about £360 it will probably be the one I get.

Maybe at £225-£250 but not at these prices, i will not allow these companys to take the crap out of me, i vote with my head and my wallet.

"Take the crap out of me" I'm pretty sure that's not the phrase you were looking for but I'm nicking it anyway
These motherboard prices are kind of obscene. Even the 'midrange' ones that are like £250-300.

Unless you're an extreme overclocker or something, there's rarely any need to spend more than £150-170 for a motherboard. You can get perfectly respectable ones for like £100 as well.

I suspect a lot of these will drop in price really quickly, and they're just kind of taking advantage of the current Zen 2 hype. If they can afford to give away free water coolers with these higher models, it tells you something about the crazy margins they're enjoying on them to begin with.
Hmmm, I wonder if i'll be able to claim the freebie if I order through Amazon with Box as the supplier. Bet not.

oh....i have this cooler sitting in my pc right now
Not sure how you exactly go about getting the MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI for £150
Just pre-ordered one of the new b450 MAX boards for delivery on Friday (£107 with guaranteed delivery) so I'm wondering whether to cancel that and just get a x570, even with my concerns about the onboard fan.
Not sure how to go about it though.
