ps i mean that in a helpfull way not spitefull just need your advice

It's comparatively old tech. I've just picked up a used HTC HD2 on ebay for a shade over £100 and the hardware put's the 3gs to shame - a bigger screen with higher pixel density, a way more powerful processor, an sd slot to give you up to 32gb of storage etc plus there's a massive community of people developing software mods and hacks. I'm looking at dual booting Windows 7 and the latest Android OS - 4.0 but could put the apple operating system on if I so chose.

To put it into context, the 600mHz processor on the 3gs is underpowered compared to all but the most low end of the new smartphones. Basically you're paying for the name on this.

thankyou im new to this and you have been very helpfull i just feel stuck in the dark ages with my current phone will look at what you have said thankyou

To be honest, it all depends on what you want it for, if you want the latest tech then no, but if your after a decent smartphone and you like apple products, ie want a dock say for music and or travel a lot then not a bad deal. Horses for courses and all that. I don't have an iPhone but do have an iPad 1 but don't see the need.upgrade just yet.

Much cheaper on O2 and tmobile
