So no doubt this will be voted cold for those Anti-Apple people and due to the cost of the actual handset or those who have a dislike to Vodafone.

I'm not a big fan of Carphone Warehouse either since Curry's purchased the company. Anyway here is the deal.

£99 upfront for the phone
Then £68 per month for 24 months
£70 cashback from Quidco

Unlimited Calls

Any deal on HUKD with an iPhone X is getting heat from me... not because I love my Apple tech and I’m getting the X, but because you have to be a brave SOB to post Apple deals on this site... you savages

I pay £33 a month for the s8+ and had it free so this is ridiculous

My 2005 vw golf tdi , with cruise control all leather interior is the same price. This is a complete joke.

Bend me over and spank me big boy 🤣🤣🤣

How come this is a good deal for you when you nearly pay double the price of headset?

Could get a car for that

Got more chance of plaiting fog than me paying for that.

Calls/Texts and Data especially 26 GB is not free.

nothing to do with being anti apple and everything to do with poor value, cold

Do I need to take a mortgage out?

TBC are offering £85 cashback for Iphone X orders from carphone warehouse
topcashback.co.uk/car…se/

You can get much better deals if you buy the phone upfront but understand not everyone can or want to.

Just buy iPhone X and add your own SIM card. Much cheaper that way

Well said. Also who buy this expensive phone will make themselves liable for mugging . So will need bodyguard as well.

You can get a vodafone sim only with similar data and buy the phone outright and it will still be MUCH cheaper than this deal

Terrible value

I’m going to get this soon hopefully on a lower contract (1 year) and pay more upfront (anything lower than £800 is good) or get it on the Iphone upgrade program and pay that off straight away and I think you can get the phone with Apple care for a overall price of just under £800 with Apple upgrade program.

X rated deal

Three are offering an unlimited everything deal with nothing up front for a rather eye-watering £117 per month ..

I get unlimited Calls/Texts & 20Gb data from EE for £19 a month, this is a bad deal.

Mate put the bong down

Its just my personal opinion disagreeing spending nearly 2 grants for just a phone!! There are enough and more other priorities in most peoples life.

If I can keep my contract low paying more upfront (but less than without contract is a good deal to me) also look at the Apple upgrade program and how much it works out to and that you can pay it off straight away if you wish.

I know all about the IUP but it still doesn’t come out at£800

Yes I’ve just noticed it’s 20 months (not 12 months my mistake. 12 months £56.45 would of been £756.40 with £79 included for IUP £56.45 a month) x 20 months is £1208 of 56.45 with £79 included. £1208 that is with £200 Apple care for 20 months and chance to get new one in 11 months time. I’m sure there is some kind of deal in there somewhere.

Not taking into account the cashback (which may or may not track) the sim works out at £30.50 a month, which is a tad expensive considering you can get a 40gb Voda sim through CPW for £30 or 25gb for £25 a month plus a £25 Currys gift card (I do appreciate not everyone has a grand upfront)

I got it for £400 less! Fair enough a lot less gb of data but has most normal people use WiFi!? Vodafone are useless lately. Have been with them for 10+ years and just left. Customer service is appalling!

How?

FYI they didn't get purchased by currys. Cold due to Vodafone.

I’ve got iPhone X 256gb on preorder for £51 a month with £99 upfront on 24 month contract (unlimited mins, texts, 32gb data and Spotify included on Voda) so this has to be cold.

brave for posting any kind of iPhone deal on here though!

Carphone Warehouse and Dixons have agreed a £3.8bn "merger of equals" to create an electricals retailer selling phones to fridges, and offering service and support alongside a multitude of gadgets.

With 3,000 stores and sales of almost £11bn, the new company, called Dixons Carphone, will bring the household names Currys, PC World and Carphone Warehouse under one umbrella.

Next time do ya research misery guts.

Anyone who thinks this is a good deal are mental.

Yeah, problem is three coverage at home is terrible. EE do seem the best in my area.

Pricing of this particular handset aside, this is still not a good deal unfortunately. You can build a better bundle yourself by buying the phone through various credit card/paypal offers to spread the cost (believe your phone will be completely sim free if bought from Apple as well?) and just choosing a sim only deal that suits your needs.

If you can't afford to or don't have the credit score to get the phone separately without huge APR cost then maybe you should consider whether you need this expense in your life to begin with when much cheaper alternatives exist, including from Apple themselves if you want to stick with the IOS ecosystem.
