Thanks bud, ordered
The only things this uses from the Asimov classics that he wrote bearing this name is "Susan Calvin" who was more like Judy Dench than a glamorous type in the book. Barely mentioned (and not used) were Asimov's three laws of Robotics. Isaac would be spinning in his grave.
Once big willy started making films with his son, his career went downhill.

Hear! Hear!

If you like Asimov, don't watch it.
If you like real sci-fi, don't watch it.
Just don't watch it at all...
One of my favourite films. Watched again this week, 3D version for first time. Worth £3 pound in my eyes, heat.
First Law
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
Second Law
A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
Third Law
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.
In one of the short stories 2 of the laws came into conflict causing the robot to go into a repetitive loop of go stop go stop...... Can't remember the short story name

Theres the zeroeth law too ! Invented by two of a certain branch of robot that were built with a weakened 1st law - but thats one of the later stories !

Agreed. The kid had no talent whatsoever, but thats usually the case. Godfather director did the same with his daughter. She wanted to be in movies, quite understandably and was awful. But its even worse nowadays with Hollywood doing their own version of McCarthyism promoting and throwing money at people who tick certain P.C. boxes and blacklisting those that don't.
